Laos 3-day tour, the most comfortable place in Laos.
Vientiane 3-day tour, the most comfortable place in Laos || 7.17-7.21
I personally think Vientiane is the most comfortable place to stay in Laos. It's delicious and fun, and city walks are comfortable. You don't have to worry about rain, and there's a temple every few minutes, so you can always find shelter. In Luang Prabang and Vang Vieng, there's not much to eat, and every day is very bland. After coming to Vientiane, I finally feel alive.
Vang Vieng to Vientiane transportation: minivan, 2 hours, 13w, direct to airport or city.
Accommodation: SYRI Guesthouse, 10w per night, large space, large wardrobe, very comfortable.
Currency exchange:
The cheapest place in the city is the Agricultural Promotion Bank (July 20) at 1:3559.
Day 1 City Walk (3pm-7:30pm, 4.5h)
Sport Guesthouse Cafe (lunch, first meal in Vientiane, finally had a delicious meal in Laos, I was so moved I cried) -- Lao National Cultural Hall -- Nam Phou Fountain -- Presidential Palace (Chairman's Office) -- That Dam Stupa (Black Tower) -- American Center Vientiane (graffiti wall) -- Wat Sisaket (3w) -- Ho Phrakeo Museum (3w) -- Vientiane Library (library open to the public) -- Wat That Phoun (free, the temple is very large, worth visiting) -- Patuxay - Victory Monument (Arc de Triomphe 3w) -- Prime Minister Office -- King Anouvong Statue -- Vientiane Night Market (Mekong Night Market, mainly selling clothes, check in at the nearby Mixue, ice cream is generally more expensive than in China) -- Wat Ong Teu -- Wat Haysoke -- Night market with food (very, very many kinds of snacks and juices!!) -- Ban Anou Night Market (fewer stalls, mainly barbecue and fast food)
Day 2: (10am-3pm)
PVO Vietnamese Food -- Buddha Park -- A Je Kitchen -- D-Mart
10:00am: PVO for brunch, lots of variety, baguettes are delicious, affordable, lots of people, pack a sandwich after eating, eat while playing.
11:00am: Take bus 14 from CBS (Central Bus Station) to Xiangkun Temple, also known as Buddha Park (entrance fee 4w), 1.8w, every half hour, passing the Thai-Lao Friendship Bridge. Back to the city around 3pm.
After a good rest, have dinner at A Je Kitchen's pork leg rice, next to Night market with food and D-Mart.
Day 3: City Walk (temple tour)
Wat Kao Nhot -- Wat Phiavat -- Vientiane City Pillar (Vientiane City Pillar) -- Wat Si Muang (very lively, beautiful main hall) -- Wat That Khao (Reclining Buddha) -- Wat Phapho -- Wat Phaxay -- Wat Beungkhanyong ---- Rimping Supermarket (super fun to shop) -- Wat Sisangvone -- Wat That Luang Tai (Tower of Luang Tai Temple) -- That Luang Museum (Tower of Luang Temple, 3w) -- King Setthathirath Statue
ps: Highly recommend PVO Vietnamese Food, I ate there every day in Vientiane, ordered different dishes, all delicious.
