The Victoria Harbour – including the Inner Harbour – is one of the most beautiful harbours in the world. The harbour has had a long history, starting with its use by First Nations. Recreational vessels and small cruise ships can moor in the centre of this famous heritage city, just steps from its historic streets and distinctive architecture.
A glance at the buildings of Victoria will remind of the legacies of the great Victorian architecture.

ferry and road trip (Canada and America)
#celebratewithtrip I start off from Victoria ,British Columbia, Canada located southern end of Vancouver Island. view here was stunning and quite laid back . From here I took a ferry to Port Angeles located at states of Washington , United States . Ferry itself take about 90min and the place was very peaceful and not much crowd . Over here I rent a car and begin my road trip back to Vancouver main island . Passing by few small town like Sequim , Port Townsend, Port Ludlow before reaching Washington State’s largest city Seattle . Home to the first Starbucks. From Seattle Will heading up north to Peace Arch which is the border crossing with Canada . Before you do this makes sure you inform the car rental company you will be driving cross border and return other there. It was a fun trip which I get to see many nice view and most of the small town in Washington States are not infect with tourist so can have good picture taking opportunities. what a trip which take me around 20days #spooktaculartrip

Victoria, B.C
Another great day trip! This was my first bus tour and while I didn’t care for the people I was on the bus with I had a great time in Victoria. Started with a long boat ride which I loved and it was a great time for some to catch up on sleep. Then we went to downtown Victoria and China town. A really cute town with unique sights, town hall, the harbour and China town are all so different. Last stop was Butchart Gardens. I won’t lie I did not expect much, I like exploring but a garden would never have been on my radar. It was amazing! Really. Flowers of all kinds everywhere and nothing looked the same at all. Always new things to look at, I think I took the most photos here. There were some crowds but it’s done in a way that the line keeps moving. If there are is people in the way give it a second they will move on soon. #victoria #bc #canada

Small, fun capital of BC
Victoria is around an hour's ferry ride away from Vancouver and another 40 mins bus ride to the city center.
It's a lovely small city that's charming and very picturesque. Of course, you have to visit the Parliament building, which is a grand building with lovely domes overlooking the harbor. The garden area around the building is also a very nice stroll.
The harbor area is full of energy and life, and there always seems to be something going on. It's also a good place to stroll along and get lovely views of the water.
There's also a Chinatown in the city which offers many cool narrow alleys. You can also get some Chinese food here.
A bit afield, there's the market for the beginning (or end) of the long TransCanada highway. A nice sign marks that point and the area is also has great sea views.
Overall Victoria is a great day trip from Vancouver. It's calm and quaint and offers you several attractions! This city is full of greenery!

Victoria Chinatown
Chinatown is one of the oldest districts of Victoria, the capital of British Columbia. Many buildings date to the late 19th and early 20th centuries, when reformers associated with Sun Yat-sen organised opposition to the Qing Dynasty from here.
Today Chinatown remains one of the best places to get Chinese food in the city and is a popular tourist destination.
Chinatown is just a short walk from the Inner Harbour, where float planes and helicopters from Vancouver and ferries from Washington State arrive, and not far from the cruiseship terminal.

At dusk, our Ruby Princess Cruise and two other cruise ships are docked in Victoria, Canada, the most prestigious coastal city on Vancouver Island, the capital of British Columbia, Canada. Three large cruise ships docked, and thousands of people rushed off the boat. Victoria's small city streets were full of tourists. Almost all the shops sold souvenirs. We walked along the waterfront and walked to the parliament building. Beautiful night view of Victoria.
Old Lake Walker.
Victoria has two of the most popular activities, one is whale watching and the other is to visit the Butchart Gardens.
The last time I watched a whale was in Florida, the second time I was still super excited. I watched the whales slammed a little out of the water and everyone cheered excitedly. The people on the shore were tents. Also excited to run along the coast to watch.
I feel very envious when I feel that there is nowhere to go with Miss Fu on the weekend. I can camp here so that I can watch whales at such a close distance. Don't be too excited. The baby in Figure 3 was brought out by Dad so happy, watching us take pictures and he looked like a slap in the face.
just didn't see the whale splashing, but I can see it already very lucky.

Victoria, Canada.
When I arrived in Victoria, I learned that it is the capital of British Columbia. It is located on an inland island larger than Taiwan, which can only be reached by a giant ferry. The scenery along the way is beautiful. This garden-like city is known as the Provence of Canada. It is also a political center, with its Parliament Building and Royal Hotel. The area is so large that it is intimidating, and you can switch between urban and rural life at will.
🚗 Victoria City Hall: Built in 1891, it was designed by the famous architect Herman Otto Tiedemann Lange in the Neo-Gothic architectural style. This magnificent building is not only the seat of the BC provincial government but also one of the most iconic attractions in Victoria. Highly recommended!
🚗 Empress Hotel: You can experience imperial history in one of the hotel's rooms or suites and enjoy panoramic views of Victoria's Inner Harbor. With its long history and iconic architecture, its unique green dome and gorgeous interior decoration showcase the luxury and sophistication of the time. In addition to being a hotel, the Empress Hotel is also an important landmark in downtown Victoria.
🚗 Chinese Canadian Museum in Victoria
The Chinese Canadian Museum in Victoria
The museum is small, less than 200 square meters, slightly larger than a shop, but worth a visit. The museum exhibits the experiences of the first generation of Chinese immigrants in Canada, from gold mining to building the Pacific Railway, to the head tax on Chinese people, the Chinese Exclusion Act, and the Canadian government's apology. Victoria's Chinatown is the first Chinatown in Canada.
🚗 Harbor and Fisherman's Wharf
Enjoy the scenery of Victoria's harbor and various historical buildings. Located on the seaside in the city center, you can walk along the seaside boardwalk in the city center for a day trip. The wharf is divided into a fishing boat area, a restaurant area, and a houseboat area.
🚗 Craigdarroch Castle: Built in the late 19th century, it is a luxurious Victorian mansion that showcases the lifestyle and culture of the time.
🚗 Hatley Castle: A magnificent castle building that combines Gothic and Jacobean styles, with a solemn and gorgeous appearance and a majestic atmosphere. Its design is inspired by European castles and English country estates, showcasing the luxury and opulence of the Victorian era.
🚗 Victoria Cathedral
It is the largest Gothic cathedral in the world, but it is interspersed with traces of Arab mosques everywhere. It is a product of religious art with both Islamic and Christian styles, reflecting the historical changes of religion as a tool of rule.
🚗 St. Andrew's Cathedral
St. Andrew's Cathedral is a historic Roman Catholic church in Victoria. Built in 1892, the church was designed by architect John Teague in the Gothic Revival style.

Victoria Travel Guide|Transportation, Accommodation, and Food Recommendations.
Make the most of the good weather 😉
Today, we're exploring Victoria, a city near Vancouver ✌🏻
⛴️Transportation
Buy a ferry ticket on the BC Ferries website to get to the island. The ferry ride takes 1h35min.
One-way ticket price 🎫:
- 19.1/person
- If you choose to drive onto the ferry, the ticket is 80.75
The departure port in Vancouver is Tswwassen. It is recommended to arrive at the ticket gate 30min-1h before departure.
🏨Accommodation
For convenience, we chose the Fairmont Express, which is in a great location for city walks! City Hall and the Royal Museum are right outside the door.
The hotel is decorated in a retro style, but the rooms are small (if you mind, we recommend choosing another hotel nearby 🌟).
🥘Food
👩🏻🍳 II Terrazzo: A popular Italian restaurant in DT. Reservations are recommended. Recommended dishes: CAPESANTE e TONNO AFFUMICATO (scallops and smoked tuna)/SPAGHETTI CARBONARA (steak and cream pasta)/GRIGLIATA di Carne (steak, lamb chops, and duck leg platter).
👩🏻🍳 Red Fish Blue Fish: Street food fish and chips next to Inner Harbor. The fish is fresh and tender. We recommend trying the halibut.
👩🏻🍳 Uchida Eatery: A hidden gem of a Japanese restaurant in an alley. We recommend the assorted sashimi donburi. It is only open four days a week, so be sure to check the opening hours before you go.
👩🏻🍳 Bodega: Spanish food with a great atmosphere. Each dish is small but delicious, perfect for drinking and chatting 🍷.
👩🏻🍳 Don Mee: Hong Kong-style dim sum in Chinatown. Authentic taste. The waiters push carts around the restaurant, and you can take whatever you want to eat. We recommend going early to avoid the long lines.
Stay tuned for the next article on travel routes and attractions 😎

Let's get straight to the point
I've been to Victoria more than 10 times
This time, the hotel I chose is the best one so far🥰
🏨Oak Bay Beach Hotel is pet friendly
10 minutes' drive from Victoria DT🚗, the beach is right next to the hotel, and the view of the pool is really beautiful!
It's really refreshing to soak in the hot spring at dusk, and the restaurant patio is also very beautiful~
It is worth mentioning that as a resort hotel, the restaurant here is also very good❗❗
The food standard can beat many restaurants in Victoria
The restaurants outside close very early, and there is nothing left open at seven or eight in the evening
Dinner here is open until 10 pm! It's perfect for us late sleepers. Valet/room service and other services are also 💯. The room is very clean and soundproof
In short, I stayed for four days without any discomfort~

[Discover Vancouver: The Hidden Charms of Victoria]
🚢 As the first rays of sunlight hit the sea, we embarked on our journey to Victoria. With an 8 am ferry ticket, we could greet the new day at sea. But don't forget, if you want to enjoy a leisurely breakfast on the ferry, be sure to line up early, as the queue is always long.
🌸[Butchart Gardens: A Sea of Flowers]🌸 As soon as we set foot on Victoria, we headed straight to Butchart Gardens. The flowers here are in full bloom, as if we were walking into a vivid painting. For travelers who love gardening, this is undoubtedly paradise. You can pick your favorite seeds here and plant a piece of spring at home. But for those of us who are used to the beautiful scenery of Hangzhou, Butchart Gardens, though beautiful, lack a bit of novelty.
🏰[Hatley Castle: Whispers of History]
🏰 Hatley Castle, a small and exquisite castle, but for those of us who have traveled to European castles, it seems a bit insignificant. Our time here seemed to be a small regret.
🏛️[BC Parliament Buildings: The Hall of Power]
🏮[Chinatown: A Taste of Home in a Foreign Land]
🏮 Chinatown, a place full of the taste of home. We tasted the rice noodles at Little Yunnan here, and although the taste was average, the "Lai Sing BBQ" that my husband found in the museum surprised us. A roast duck, delicious, and the enthusiasm of the owner is unforgettable.
🐟[Fisherman's Wharf: A Feast in the Sea Breeze]
🐟 Fisherman's Wharf is undoubtedly the highlight of our trip. Fried fish and chips, the sea breeze blowing gently, and the cheerful melody of the Mexican restaurant band in our ears, everything was so perfect. We didn't get to experience the sea bus, but next time, I will definitely stay here longer, enjoy a glass of wine, and feel the tranquility of the harbor.
🌅[Return Journey: The Gift of Sunset]
🌅 With an 8 pm ferry, we arrived at the pier early, but were unexpectedly allowed to board the 7 pm ferry. On the ferry, we witnessed the magnificence of the sunset, which was the perfect end to the day.🍽️[Food Recommendations]🍽️ In Victoria, besides the roast duck at "Lai Sing BBQ," there are many hidden delicacies waiting for you to discover. For example, the local seafood, fresh oysters, and salmon are all must-try delicacies.
🏨[Accommodation Tips]🏨 When choosing accommodation, consider hotels near the pier, so you can easily enjoy the beautiful harbor view whether you are departing or returning.
📌[Travel Tips]📌
• Buy ferry tickets and attraction tickets in advance to avoid waiting in line.
• Tickets for the Parliament Buildings are very popular, so remember to book in advance.
• The sea bus at Fisherman's Wharf is a great way to experience the local culture, so don't miss it. Victoria, a charming city, has its unique story everywhere. Here, you can slow down, feel the sea breeze, and enjoy the tranquility of life. Consider this place for your next trip, and you'll find that every exploration is a new surprise. 🌊🌅🍹

The check-in process was very quick, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. They even offered us a free shoe-shining service, which added to my positive first impression of the hotel.
I booked a deluxe suite, and the room's interior decor was stylish, equipped with all modern conveniences. The bed was extremely comfortable, with high-quality down comforters that ensured a good night's sleep every night. The bathroom was also clean and tidy, with 24-hour hot water and convenient amenities like a hairdryer. The most surprising feature was the room's kitchen facilities, including a microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher, which are a great convenience for travelers who enjoy cooking.
The hotel's free Wi-Fi was strong and stable, making it easy to handle work or enjoy online entertainment. Additionally, the hotel's gym was well-equipped, making it a perfect choice for someone like me who doesn't want to miss daily workouts. Although I didn't use it, the hotel's massage room looked quite professional and worth a try.
In terms of dining, the hotel's restaurant offers a variety of options, from fresh seafood to exquisite international cuisine. I also tried their breakfast delivery service, and the food was fresh and delicious, with excellent service.
In terms of location, the Oswego Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of landmark attractions such as Fisherman's Wharf, Confederation Fountain, and the Robert Bateman Centre. Even downtown Victoria and other famous tourist destinations are within easy reach.
I'm already considering choosing this hotel again for my next visit and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends.

Victoria, the best small city in the world.
Victoria is the largest city and seaport on Vancouver Island. It has a mild, maritime climate. The temperature in January is 4°C–5°C, with only 20 days of frost per year. The average annual rainfall is 27 inches, with the rainy season in winter and only 2 inches of rain from June to August. The city is beautiful and tranquil, with flowers in full bloom and green grass all year round, earning it the nickname "Garden City."
We took a ferry near Vancouver Airport and arrived at this beautiful island, Victoria, the southernmost city in Canada, after an hour and a half. The best way to experience Victoria is to slow down. So, taking a bus, riding a bike, walking, or taking a sightseeing tricycle or carriage are the best ways to savor this garden city.
🌲 Victoria, the best small city in the world. These two cities, nestled between mountains and the sea, blend urban prosperity with natural tranquility.
🐳 If you like the sea, head to Vancouver Island, where wildness and elegance coexist. Hike, surf, whale watch, kayak, and experience the vibrant energy of Canada's west coast!
⛰️ If you prefer mountains, the famous Rocky Mountains are in eastern BC, home to the most magnificent national parks, four of which are in BC. Whether hiking, climbing, camping, or boating on a glacial lake, you can find solace in the natural beauty of North America's backbone.
🍇 If you love pastoral scenery, head to the Okanagan Valley in BC's interior. With the most sunshine, it's Canada's top wine region, with vineyards everywhere. Find a unique winery and indulge in the golden autumn colors.
