Delicious place on the mountain 🏔️ Completely fall in love this is lovely “baita” in Aosta Valley - Italy Excellent food and very friendly staff The location is just amazing in the middle of the ski slope area, better place to refresh at lunch time after your ski day in Cervinia. You can taste local food here specially the local meats and the tasty local wine. To me the best steak house in the village. It is like a little peace of paradise in the middle of the mountain. The price as the medium of the area. They have a nice patio terrace to enjoy lunch outside. We had lunch inside and the typical wood design makes everything so romantic. I suggest to try the local steak. You can reach this place from the slope directly from the line with your ski or by walk from the road crossing a 10 meter of the skislope. The Foyer des Guides restaurant is a restaurant located on the ski slopes, but easily accessible by car. Typical mountain chalet, it combines tradition with modern and functional design elements. Staff very nice, they brough always some chips, peanuts together with beer. Interior is awesome, don't miss to visit wine cellar. From dawn to sunrise (hotel-on the bridge), Then the cog railway train went up the mountain and got on the wrong station, but we still enjoyed the view of the Matterhorn along the way. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to take a picture of the reflection before noon. The next train is an hour away, and sitting on the platform and daydreaming is really tiring! Fortunately, the sun continued to shine brightly on the top of the mountain so I continued taking pictures! I accompanied him all the way down the mountain. Zermatt is a must-visit town when you travel to Switzerland. It's a small, pollution-free town. On a clear day, you can see the Matterhorn peak from every corner of the town. You can check the live cam of the peak to plan the best time to visit. Each season offers a different experience. We visited during the early season when the first snow was starting to cover the ground. We traveled in late October, a time when the leaves were changing colors, and we also got to experience the snow. We recommend taking the train up to get a closer view of the peak. You can see the peak reflecting on the water if the wind isn't too strong. It's recommended to stay for at least 2 nights to fully enjoy the various activities.
