Easter Island
The mysterious site of the world—Easter Island ||| was discovered by Jacob Roggeveen in 1722, located in the southeastern Pacific Ocean, and is one of the most remote islands in the world, about 3600 kilometers from the mainland of Chile. There are more than 1000 megalithic statues on the island, with only about 5000 people living on the small island.
The megaliths on the island are about 7-10 meters high, with the tallest being over 20 meters and weighing hundreds of tons. They are exquisitely carved and uniquely shaped. According to investigations, the carving time is estimated to be between 1100 and 1680 AD.
In 1995, it was listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Who made these statues? How were they made? What were they used for? These are still unsolved mysteries of the world to this day.
For these giant statues, I flew 15,000 kilometers
Coming to Easter Island is like fulfilling a dream. This lonely island in the vast sea is really in the middle of nowhere, more than 3,000 kilometers away from mainland Chile. It takes 5 hours by plane, and even the tickets are hard to buy, so it's not easy to make a trip here.
The island is very small, it takes only half an hour to drive from south to north, there are not many rich products and unique landscapes, it can be said to be a plain volcanic island.
We stayed on the island for 5 days and 4 nights, which was plenty of time. Now in spring, the daylight hours are long, 3-4 days are enough to see most of the attractions on the island.
🟨Let's highlight a few points🟨

🧡tips
①The food and daily necessities on Easter Island are relatively expensive, it is recommended to bring your own necessities
②Respect the local culture and regulations when visiting the giant stone statues
On the first day of Easter Island, the weather was not good. I started a one-person hike
ran along the rugged path along the beach to the nearest attraction. From time to time, the sky was still raining for a while, carrying a camera bag, hands I still have to carry the drone suitcase, and it is very difficult to travel. Once on the road full of earth and stone, I put down my suitcase and dragged forward, so I actually moved forward for 2-3 kilometers, went to the entrance of the scenic spot, and checked the ticket. The little brother is born with a romantic guitar with a melody. There is no tourist at all here in the rainy days. I always give people a sense of escaping.
Along the black path formed by the volcanic magma, I continued my journey with great stride, and even I met a group of cows, but the uncontested weather completely covered the sunset, and the drifting rain, I was in a hurry. I didn't bring the umbrella out of the door. Now I don't have any choice but to pull the zipper on my body. I look up at the cloud and it doesn't stop at all. So I take the family back, but This will be a long way, a bit horrifying.
Yes, Easter Island is called the belly button of the world, (you may understand it by looking at the map). On Easter Island, watching Moai quietly blowing the sea breeze of the Pacific Ocean, enjoying the baptism of sunrise and sunset is the best way to travel.
The beauty of Easter Island makes the text look ordinary, but fortunately there are photos that make it shine in memory.
