My parents have always wanted to visit Saihanba after watching the TV series "The Most Beautiful Youth." Checking the map, we found it's quite close to Beijing. We drove from Beijing on Friday morning, arriving in about three hours. The road conditions were excellent throughout the journey. We returned to Beijing on Sunday afternoon. Saihanba essentially has three sightseeing routes. The hotels there provide maps. I recall two routes branching left and right, and a straight path leading to Ulan Butong.
