2024 Turks and Caicos Islands Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in November)
Best watersport - SUP surfing
#watersports
I recommend: fitness activities to stay in shape even after an all-inclusive vacation:
• SUP-surfing - this is the board in the photo, I don't spend a day on my Turks and Caicos vacation without it, you can diversify your training as you wish: an hour-long walk in windless weather burns 300-450 kcal, you can race for speed with friends (700-1000 kcal per hour), and you can even do yoga on the board, it develops balance well and engages all muscle groups (400-540 kcal)
• cycling - many hotels provide them for rent and sometimes even for free. In 15 minutes on a bike, the calorie expenditure will be 70-80 kcal.
• beach volleyball is a great way to get a tan (don't forget to apply good sunscreen), and meet new friends and, as a bonus, burn 120 kcal in 15 minutes of play.
• yoga - for me, the perfect morning is when I start it with yoga, you can do it even on the beach and set your body and mind up for a wonderful day. And also minus 170 kcal in half an hour.#100waysoftravel
The Allure of Grace Bay: Silver Sands and Clear Blue Waters
Grace Bay is a hidden gem in Turks and Caicos that you must visit. The soft white sands and crystal-clear blue waters offer the perfect relaxation. The sunsets along the beach are truly spectacular, making it an ideal spot for swimming or snorkeling. There are also plenty of opportunities to observe marine life up close, making it suitable for family travelers. Nearby restaurants serve fresh seafood that will delight food enthusiasts. Grace Bay, with its peaceful atmosphere, is recommended as the ultimate vacation destination.
Best beaches in the world!

Where do you think the best beaches in the world are?
I will tell you now) one problem - it's very lazy to write posts next to such a beach 🏖️
The Caribbean, between the Dominican Republic and the Bahamas, is a small paradise - the archipelago of the Turks and Caicos Islands. It consists of 40 islands and reefs, but only seven of them are inhabited (many of them are very small and have a small rise above sea level). There are islands with luxurious villas of celebrities, there are uninhabited islands, with real paradise beaches from the Bounty ad, there are islands with pirate caves and virgin nature.
Turks and Caicos - British Overseas Territory
Official language - English
Currency - US dollar
Economy is based on tourism, offshore financial business and fishing
The climate is tropical maritime, sunny and relatively dry. The average temperature in winter is about +27... +28 °C, in summer +32 °C. Water temperature in winter is +23...+26 °C, in summer +28... +29 °C. The best time to visit is from December to July
You can get to Providenciales (the largest and most touristic island) via the USA or Great Britain. If your passport does not contain visas from these countries, there is a daily flight from Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic), but be prepared that the flight is on local airlines and you will feel it yourself - a small propeller plane, heat and stuffiness in the cabin, but the flight is only an hour (tested on myself)
Interesting:
* Grace Beach on the islands has been named the best beach in the world by the travel website TripAdvisor
* Traffic is on the left side of the road, just like in UK
* Prices: it's expensive here. Hotels will cost 2-3 times more than similar ones at other resorts. A room in a resort hotel with a beach will cost from $1,000 per day. Food is more expensive than in the US, both in restaurants and in supermarkets. A taxi driver at the airport will ask for $100 for a 20-minute ride. But if you see these white beaches with turquoise water, you'll understand that it's worth it!

Another day at a beautiful resort🥰
Next up, we stay at another resort, Turks and Caicos Resort. We spent a night here.
- It has been recently renovated.
- There is a beautiful pool, large enough to do laps and a large hot tub for couples or larger groups.
- It is steps to the sandy beach for long walks or water sports (Kiting, kayaking, paddle boards, etc) there is no restaurant at the resort and the gym is currently being renovated.
- It is a reasonable drive to the other resorts, beaches, restaurants and shopping.
- If you want a busy beach, then this is not for you but if you want privacy, water sports.
Amanyara is one of the most expensive villas in the world
A once-in-a-lifetime hotel, 'Amanyara' is derived from the Sanskrit meaning 'place of peace', an elegantly luxurious hideaway, a tropical paradise with clear waters and white sands.
◎ Located on Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands, this tropical vacation paradise is surrounded by crystal-clear blue-green waters and is just steps away from the pristine white sandy beaches. The azure sea and sky, caressed by the sea breeze, make all the hustle and bustle and worries seem unattainable, leaving only the pure tranquility that strikes the soul.
Providenciales is beautiful and peaceful, with a well-preserved natural ecosystem, and has been rated as the best beach vacation destination by multiple magazines and travel awards. The western end of the island is the untouched Malcolm Beach, where the water is clear, the sand is soft, and it also has a quiet and secluded environment. The soft white beach stretches for 800 meters, and walking on the fine sand in the sea breeze in the early morning and evening, savoring the infinite charm of the island, is one of the most beautiful things on this planet.

🏝 Turks & Caicos - MAGIC LAND
The Turks & Caicos Islands have the perfect antidote for your hectic lifestyle: nearly abandoned, blindingly white sand fringed by shimmering azure water, colorful coral reefs, crispy conch fritters and a sleepy, lighthearted atmosphere. While the destructive hurricanes of 2017 did impact the island, much of the damage has been repaired and its beaches are still as stunning as ever. Turks & Caicos holds tight to its reputation as an exclusive and secluded getaway. And regular vacationers to these skinny strips of alabaster sand will tell you that they wouldn't have it any other way.
This network of roughly 100 islands and cays has three dominant personalities. There's glamorous Providenciales, or "Provo," which shelters a bevy of luxurious hotels. Laid-back Grand Turk is the historic and cultural nucleus (and cruise ship hub), best seen in the Turks & Caicos National Museum or along the shores of Cockburn Town, where Christopher Columbus first docked in the Western Hemisphere. Tiny, flat Salt Cay plays host to the best dives: From here, you can explore one of the largest reef systems in the world.
