7 minutes walk from Tanimura Station on the Fujikyuko Line. Tsuru City, Yamanashi Prefecture, is home to many shrines, but this time I went to Kanayama Shrine. Beyond the impressive torii gate were several steps of stones made from lava. It only took 1-2 minutes to climb up. At the top of the steps, the shrine and a large cedar tree stood majestically. When I closed my eyes, I could hear the birds and insects chirping, which was very soothing. The townscape was also very old-fashioned and it was pleasant to walk around! Tsuru City, Yamanashi Prefecture. This is the waterfall that Matsuo Basho wrote about in his poem "The icicles are powerful, and the fish floats down the falls." Tahara Falls. It was even better than I imagined! There was also a stone statue of Matsuo Basho, and it was wonderful to see him wearing a mask. Next to the waterfall was a manual railroad crossing, which is rare these days! If you go to the mountains 5km east of the center of Tsuru City, you will find a natural hot spring, Basho Tsukimachi no Yu, so please go and check it out after visiting the hot springs! #0yentrip I went to Cafe Hanasakajiisan in Yamanashi Prefecture! The French toast and parfait are recommended here! There are so many varieties that it's hard to decide which one to choose. The French toast is fluffy and filling, but you can eat it all in one go. They also have a stylish and delicious drink menu. The fruit tea was excellent!! There's a flower shop and a general store next door! It's fun to go to both! Why not give it a try? ?

The opening of the Shinagawa-Nagoya section, originally scheduled for 2027, has been delayed, so you may be wondering when you'll be able to see the linear train! If you head to Yamanashi, you can see another 500km of linear trains. Otsuki Station in eastern Yamanashi Prefecture can be reached from Tokyo Station by local train without changing trains, and from there it's about a 15-minute bus ride to the Yamanashi Prefectural Linear Exhibition Center, where you can get up close and personal with the linear motor car running on the Yamanashi Linear Test Line. The test dates are set and can be checked on the website, so we recommend checking in advance before heading out. #Spring0yenTrip

The excitement of riding a special train only available in this area is doubled just by riding it. This is a linear motor car museum and testing center in Yamanashi Prefecture. There are actual tracks on which the linear train runs, and you can even see it in action. This is a parking area on the Chuo Expressway Fujiyoshida Line heading towards Yamanashi Prefecture. It's a small parking area, but it has a terrace where you can have a light meal and a small plaza where pets can relax. Once you pass this point, you'll see one spectacular view of Mt. Fuji after another. Mt. Fuji covered in snow in winter was a spectacular sight! You can see the magnificent Mt.
