Years ago, I tried Sichuan spicy watermelon at a modern Chinese restaurant, and it was unexpectedly excellent. Nowadays, there's no need to strictly categorize cuisines, as you can find this delightful dish here too. The refreshing and juicy watermelon, infused with the numbing aroma of Sichuan pepper oil, is a long-missed taste. There were two soups available that night. The Hokkaido corn and potato soup is a safe choice. However, I was eager to try the chef's new creation, the laksa foam soup. Keep going uphill in the first hour via Yuen Tsuen Ancient Trial, a well paved trail which is safe for hike even the floor is wet. Saw some Lychee trees in the middle of the hike 🤩 Arrived at the top, Shek Lung Kung, and took rest for a while to enjoy the nice and wide view overlooking Tsuen Wan, Tsing Yi, Kowloon and the Hong Kong Island (you can see ICC & IFC!!) Following will be all the way downhill so you can relax yourself to enjoy the rest of the route. Closer to the end of the route, not only you can see the nice view of Tsing Ma Bridge, you may also see some cows and goats walking alongside 😆 Arrived at Shum Tseng in 3 hours.
