In 2023, we got to do a road trip in South Africa along the garden route. One of the most spontaneous moments of our trip was when we went to tsitsikamma national park. Once in the park, we decided to go for a “little” hike. Little did we know what was in store for us. We climbed and walked over slippery boulders, passed by huge caves all in search for the waterfall that we saw on the map which was given to us. We thought it would be a little waterfall but when we finally reached it, we were pleasantly surprised by the scale and beauty of it. There was the waterfall in front of you, and then behind you there was the full might of the Indian Ocean (where we saw around 100 dolphins swimming and jumping). Definitely a lifetime memory for us. Great fishing spot, with the option to spend the night camping. There are communal bathrooms and electric ports to charge your phone. Animals allowed! Warm welcoming with 5 star facilities for a campsite including excellent ablution facilities. Improvements in progress. It was a pleasant rest away from the city. We booked without delay or any problems. We where received with a smile and so much friendliness. Adel the owner even borrowed us a 5 star gazebo at no extra cost. What a amazing camping experience.
