Sounds like some elegant building when you heard about castle right? But too bad, for this is just the ruins. There is no more castle left. Built by King Arthur who is so romantic, located in midst of mountain and ocean. The area is huge that we need time to explore around. Becareful of steps though as some path are rocky and steep. The remains of castle can still be seen around but mostly are ocean and mountain view. Cornwall is amazing. Tintagel- historic and beautiful treasure of the Coast. Tintagel castle with King Arthur legends, Merlin cave, old post office, best Cornish pasties and unbelievable views and people.

This was a trip we had planned weeks in advance, we were really excited! The hike did not disappoint! We had so much fun - we were smart enough to bring a lot of food. It was definitely worth it!

Amazing place but not worth spending 24 gbp to go in. Just wander around the outside, walk to the free headland and go down to the beach where you find a nice cave and waterfall. Look around for parking in town as prices vary from place to place. Nice hike for an hour or so heading east from the castle. Beautiful views of the coastline and of Tintagel castle. Very exposed if weather bad

#dreamdestination Tintagel Castle in United Kingdom is like some how come out of the Disney movie. The view is so brilliant but be careful of the windy weather that could make you less enjoyable. But apart from that, this tourist spot is worth the visit

#spooktaculartrip Went all the way to Tintagel and local spots to see some witchy stuff, castles and beautiful landscapes.

There are few houses spotted around tintagel area and we caught someone's furry cat. The cat is so cute and fluffy. It belong to one of family who lives around here. Tintagel is surrounded with mountain and sea, very cold place to live at. No matter what the weather is, it's going to be always cold. I love to see neighbourhood area of this place. Different type of houses with greens and nature around. Imagine the people living here not lonely but familial community like village because only few houses around.
