Today I want to introduce a must-eat restaurant in Hamdeok, Jeju - 존맛식당. This restaurant is located near the Ramada Hotel in Jeju East. The restaurant focuses on octopus. It is quite authentic and friendly, and the decoration is comfortable. There are three main lunch brands, namely octopus rice, octopus noodles and iron plate octopus, and the iron plate octopus is marked for 2 people. We ordered a portion of steak octopus, and after one o'clock, we would first be served 3 appetizers, namely pickled carrots, pickled cucumbers and spicy octopus. The iron plate octopus on stage is really photogenic, in addition to the octopus, there will be beef and other side dishes, the owner will also use a translator to tell me how many minutes after it can be eaten. Located opposite Hamdeok Beach, there’s so many choices of Korean BBQ and other food. Mixed in you can find Cocotero, they have a small menu but the pizzas are huge! Definitely a meal you will have to share. Prices here are a little higher than some of the chicken places - 29000won for the large pizza but you won’t need to buy more than one between two. Drinks are standard - beers served cold and small other selection. Ordering is completely tableside - the iPad screen attached to your table is the order. The lighting and ambience inside is idyllic, combined with an opened patio section, which has umbrellas. Highlights - Delicious fresh seafood pastas and risottos. A very nice bruschetta. Avg. Price per Person - 15 000krw to 30000krw per person. Rating - 9/10 We really enjoyed our dinner in the sunset. The view, scenery and exemplary service made it a great end to our trip to Hamdeok beach. Highly recommend.

The sunny weather made it so pretty to take pictures :) While searching for a good restaurant near Hamdeok Beach, I stumbled upon a restaurant called ‘Gojipdol Ureuk’. When I looked it up, it was a chain restaurant, so there are many in Jeju Island~ I really liked the Hamdeok branch because I could eat while looking at the ocean view. I had to wait a while because there was a long line when I went during lunch/dinner hours. There was a cafe called Banana right above, so I spent some time there. The signature menu, banana cream latte, was really sweet and delicious! 🍱 Gojipdol Ureuk Hamdeok Branch - 2nd floor, 491-9 Sinbuk-ro, Jochon-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju-do - 3-5 break time - You can’t make a reservation by phone, but if you go in person and make a reservation at the kiosk, they will tell you your waiting number via KakaoTalk. On the first day, I stayed at Aewol-ae, so I went to Noeulli Cafe on Aewol Cafe Street. I could see the ocean through the open windows, and the cafe was full of greenery that felt like a botanical garden. It was nice to be able to see the ocean to my heart's content. Aewol Beach is pretty, but Hamdeok Beach has another charm. The water is so pretty that it's like the color of the South Pacific resort, so just looking at it is healing. There's 🌊 Delmundo Cafe on the beach. It's the best place to enjoy Hamdeok Beach. I feel happy when I have a cup of coffee and look at the sea. If you go to Oedo 🏝️, there's Hunderz Hills Cafe on Oedo Beach. The Oedo Beach spreads out before your eyes, so it's the best place to enjoy the ocean. From Aewol Beach to the mountain path ⛰️When driving, Jejudang Bakery blends in with the mountain. This friendly cafe has a pond and an indoor garden, so it's great for taking a break and appreciating nature. It's a natural landscape where the pond inside and the pond outside seem to be connected. There's also a souvenir shop inside, so it's good for buying small items, and they even give you a discount if you drink tea. When I went up to the rooftop terrace of Cafe Wayview on Hallim Beach and looked at the sea, I saw a huge offshore 💨 wind turbine. It's nice to sit on a chair in front of the cafe, take pictures, and look at the sea. Sanbangsan Up 🏔️One & Only is also great because you can see the sea and Sanbangsan together. It's great to be able to sit at an outdoor table, drink tea, be captivated by Sanbangsan, and feel the sea breeze. After going around the cafe, I feel like I've been to Jeju Island 🏝️ a lot.
