The construction of Wat Pa Siriwattanawisut was to express gratitude to His Holiness Somdej Phra Mahawirawong ( Win Thammasarathera), the former abbot of Wat Ratchapathikaram, Bangkok. Later, in 2007, Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana Krom Luang Narathiwat Rajanagarindra accepted it as her sole temple and presided over the construction of the Sri Buddhagaya Chedi inside, the relics of the Lord Buddha are enshrined. the glass pavilion is a blend of Thai-Indian architecture and entirely with tea-colored glass. It is the place where both Buddha footprints and the Buddha image from the U Thong period are enshrined. The atmosphere is peaceful, shady, and beautiful. It is very suitable for making merit.
