Follow my timeline and explore this fascinating area together! 9:00 AM - Departure Take the Midosuji Subway Line from downtown Osaka and arrive at Tennoji Station in about 10 minutes. As soon as I exited the station, the hustle and bustle of people in front of me instantly made me feel the vitality of this area. 🚶♀️🚶♂️ 9:30 AM - Shitennoji Temple After walking for about 10 minutes, we arrived at Shitennoji Temple, one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Japan. This temple, founded by Prince Shotoku in 593 AD, is full of a heavy sense of history. Walking into the temple, buildings such as the Golden Hall and the Five-story Pagoda make you feel as if you have traveled through time and space, and feel the solemnity and tranquility of ancient Japan. 🏯 The "Stone Stage" and "Six-Hour Hall" here are even more amazing, especially when the morning sun shines on the eaves of the temple, as if covering this ancient building with a layer of golden glory. ✨ 12:00 PM - Lunch time In the Shinsekai area near Tennoji, we tasted Osaka's famous Kushikatsu (くしカツ). The interior of the shop is open and filled with greenery, which is soothing. There are two types of morning menu, and I ordered a 700 yen salad and a plate with bacon. The food was served quickly. Everything was delicious, but I especially want to eat the bacon and sausage again. The coffee roasted in the shop was also delicious. A mansion that was once a villa of the Sumitomo zaibatsu built in the Taisho era, just opened in October. Reservations are essential, and since it was fully booked during peak times, we made a reservation for a later lunch. Freshly cooked kamameshi, two types of tofu, and nine small side dishes. Each dish was easy to finish, but by the end, we were quite full. It was the perfect season for autumn leaves, and the garden's foliage was beautifully colored.
