Royal Belum state park is the national natural heritage site in Malaysia that is believed to have been exist for over 130 million years, make it the oldest rainforest in the world, older than Amazon! Amazing right? Belum - Temenggor is home to many gigantic trees, rafflesia and also 10 species of hornbills. You will need a permit to enter this state park as to preserve all the habitat including threatened Malay Tiger, elephant, Tapir, Malayan Gaur and many more. I had the opportunity to discover the biggest flower in world that is rafflesia which has bloom! It was so beautiful and it will eventually die after blooming. This was my favourite place.
