#timetotravel
The Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, affectionately known as Te Papa, is an awe-inspiring treasure trove of the nation's cultural and natural heritage. My visit to this museum in Wellington was a deep dive into the heart and soul of New Zealand.
Te Papa's diverse exhibits, from the captivating Maori artifacts to the enthralling natural history displays, left me both enlightened and enchanted. The immersive storytelling and interactive exhibits provided a dynamic learning experience.
What sets Te Papa apart is its dedication to inclusivity and biculturalism, reflecting the essence of New Zealand's identity. The passionate guides and cultural performances added depth to my visit.
The museum's stunning waterfront location and contemporary architecture make it a standout attraction in Wellington. For history buffs, art enthusiasts, and those seeking a profound understanding of New Zealand's rich heritage, Te Papa is a must-visit. It's a place where culture and nature converge, leaving you with a deep appreciation for this remarkable country. #museum #instatravel
One-day tour to Te Papa National Museum of New Zealand
It would take a whole day to visit the entire Te papa Museum. The museum has five floors, each with a different theme, and the exhibits are dazzling.
The first floor displays a variety of New Zealand's native animals and exotic species. The animal specimens come alive behind glass showcases, telling the history of these creatures living on New Zealand's land that is so favored by the Creator. With touch-screen explanations, pictures and calls of different genders, every aspect of these creatures is presented to visitors. In addition to the native "residents", there are also introductions to uninvited guests such as possums, enriching the knowledge level of the entire New Zealand biosphere.
In addition to animals, the museum also showcases the human history of New Zealand, from the original Maori culture to the immigration history of foreign countries to New Zealand during World War II. There is even a special section dedicated to the history of the war, with vivid giant wax figures telling the tragedy of losing important people in the war. The wax figures cannot be touched, but they are so real that you can even see the sweat and tears shining through them under the lights, making you feel deeply immersed.

Te Papa Tongarewa Museum, Wellington, New Zealand's capital
If you were to choose the most famous museum in the capital of New Zealand!
📍Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa
I don't know if it's because it's run by the capital, but it's free to enter‼️
And the interior is really big and there are many exhibition rooms! I couldn't even see everything😭 I recommend that you set aside plenty of time to see it
It's located near the port, so it would be nice to go in after playing around the port👍 There are so many great exhibitions, you won't regret it😆

Wellington, the capital of New Zealand! Cuba Street
This is a place called Cuba Street that I visited while traveling in Wellington! Since this is the capital city, there are government buildings, so I had a prejudice that there wouldn't be a hip neighborhood..!
As soon as I went to Cuba Street, I felt like I was back in Central or South America🥹
The buildings are so unique and the streets are pretty, so it would be a good place to take pictures when you travel😆👍

Whirlwind Wellington Trip
Had a quick trip to Wellington, New Zealand and fit in a quick visit to the Wharf and to the Gallipoli exhibition at the Te Papa Museum! It was gorgeous and truly lives up to New Zealand’s promise that everywhere you look is a postcard-worthy moment. Can’t wait to go back and perhaps spend a longer time there but perhaps in the summer when the weather is warmer! Wellington is not known as the windy city for nothing!#newzealand #Museum #wellington #Water
