The buffet offered a decent variety of dishes, catering to different tastes. We particularly enjoyed the fresh noodles, which were cooked to order, and the flavorful curries. The dessert spread was also impressive, with a selection of cakes, pastries, and ice cream. For the price, the semi-buffet at Jazz Hotel is definitely a great value. It's a perfect choice for budget-conscious travelers who want to experience Penang's diverse culinary scene without breaking the bank.

The dim sum restaurant is huge and spacious, great place to have gatherings and hang outs with friends and family. Love the interior decor of the place, incorporating Chinese elements. They offer quite a huge menu like buns, rice rolls, tarts and more! The food was served pretty quickly, service was speedy. The presentation of the dimsum was top tier and instagrammable, taste great as well! Love the prawn dumplings with cordyceps flower soup, so nutritious and good! Would definitely return to try more of their dimsum choices!

If you want to sit overlooking the sea, just opt for the outdoor seating. It's a perfect place for gathering, whether it's with friends or family. Music isn't blaring too loudly, and you can definitely enjoy the sea breeze with your tacos too! We each ordered a beef brisket taco (RM14), and quenched our thirst with their special promo - 4 flavored margaritas at only RM60! Yum! James Foo first started in Tanjung Tokong, and now it has branches in Farlim, Bayan Lepas, and Bukit Mertajam. Their Western food is tasty, and the price has increased a lot over the years. I like their Signature Chicken Chop and Spaghetti Carbonara the most. Other popular choices are Chicken Maryland, Chicken Gordon Bleu, Fish & Chips, Grilled Salmon, Mixed Grill, Pasta Scallop and Prawns, Teriyaki Chicken Aglio-Olio, and many more. Penang Straits Quay Marina Mall Address: Jalan Seri Tanjung Pinang 10470 Tanjong Tokong, Penang, Malaysia Highlights: Cozy shopping mall with a lot of parked yacht. It was nice and romantic to stroll around. There was a fun fair at the entrance of shopping mall crowded with kids and their parents queueing for tickets. Nice happy train ride despite the super long queue. Lots of nice restaurants in the shopping mall. I tried the Blue Reef Restaurant, ordered the Garden Salads, Fish and Chips and Ice Cream Waffles. A bit overrated I think. Portion is big though. I would come back to try other restaurants like Healy Mac's Irish Bar & Restaurant, Sugar Wharf, Kazumasa Japanese Restaurant etc. Rating: 3/5
