#bintanguide Want to share info, if you are looking for a local tour guide to take you around. Please check Vinosa Travel & Transport Services. We used their service and it was brilliant. Our driver Mr. Ali was very good, he took us around Tanjung Pinang where the local goes to shop and eat which I enjoyed it a lot. Personally, if you want to experience the local lifestyle. I would recommend to go see because it is totally different from the resort provides you but do not expect anything fancy. Just enjoy the day. I am glad I visited there. Our friends have never been to South East Asia before and they had a great time walking around and shopping.

#bintanguide Definitely nothing spectacular, just a small cute spot in a fishing village. Great for short escape from Tanjung Pinang. Just for taking pics and watching the local life (but be aware that you will be most likely bigger attraction for them, hehe). There is also Sun Te Kong Temple nearby, so you can join these two visits once you are on the other side of Tanjung Pinang. To get there, take a small boat from the jetty opposite to Hotel Laut Jaya. They go all day, you just need to waive someone.

Absolutely love the dining environment, cozy and bright and feels super lively! Had my go to brunch choice the avo toast, it was decent! The venue is stunning and always greated with a smile. Okay something's that i didn't think we're that great - Water is not offered free (even when you pay 140k for a glass of wine) and the portions are quite small. They charge for extra bread, but the offered bread with the dish is not enough. Anyways, my friend had the salmon croissant , also quite delicious! Have been a few times now. Their smoothie bowl is delicious and the best we had during our time in Bintan. Make sure to ask for it cold cold otherwise it could come room temp. I once ordered the ABCG juice and i couldn't even drink it, the ginger taste was so extreme. Other than that things tasted good. The biggest recommendation would be for them to have way more 2 person tables and join them for bigger groups. Not enough seating for 1-2 people. Often have to share tables. And napkins on the table would be a big plus. And lastly spoons for the sugar on the table. These are small things. Overall the place is worthy of a visit. #bintantrip

The atmosphere, service, taste of food is a complete pleasure. Beautiful interior, attention to detail even if things are done at a small scale. They do quite well with a beautiful presentation of food and have a very interesting menu. Their recommendations were quite good too. I mean we were not familiar with all of the dishes but they helped us. You can try so many things here, a bit of a mish mash but they end up tasting well. While the evenings were super fun over here. We liked the place so much that we visited them in the morning too. The coffee is so tasty and their breakfast is good, super large portions. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the chilli scramble, but the sourdough with it was delicious. The owner was the nicest person we met during the Bintan trip. This was one of the best brunches we had in Bintan. Such good food and the staff are so lovely and accommodating. The food is super fresh and they do specials on the menu. Great vegetarian options also. Their Shaksuka is amazing, I love how they elevated it with potatoes. We also tried benedict eggs, so so good! We took a boat to Bintan from The Zone Pier in Malaysia. We were supposed to take a Grab after getting off the boat. However, Grab cannot enter the pier. We had to walk a distance to get out. However, the taxis inside were very expensive. So we walked out. Halfway there, a driver was willing to take us at the price of Grab. If I remember correctly, it was no more than 15 Malaysian ringgit. It was not far from the pier and we arrived very quickly. The environment here was beautiful, the food was delicious, and there was also a sea view to see.
