From hiker to disaster victim 😅 #No matter how you dry it, it won't dry.
If you are bored with the same old hiking, come be a victim with us. #(not)marketforest #doibebatu #maephokiwaterfall #tadokuiwaterfall #travelthenorthernforestthatislikethesouthernforest This trip is a welcome back to the hiking world after Covid was the most unforgettable. Get out of the car, the sky is clear, walk leisurely through 2 rice peaks, see the length of Maephoki Waterfall where we will set up the first camp, hear the sound of the waterfall near the camp, the view of the rice terraces, receive the last sunlight of the day (really the last) because after that, it rained a long time. It rained so much that even if we hang clothes to dry, they wouldn't dry. The next morning, we walked a bit far this time, 7-9 kilometers, to go up to the second camp on Doi Bebatu. From the rain all day and up, when we reached the second camp, oh my #bebatu was so white that I couldn't see anything, lol. But it was awesome. The next day, we went down from Bebatu to go to another camp, Tadokui Waterfall, which walks through a village and a rainforest, feels like a southern forest. To be honest, there are leeches all the way in this forest, but they are still trainee leeches. The body is not very big but it sucks and hurts 555. The point before the camp is a waterfall that we have to cross to set up camp. The way up is easy. The water is a bit strong but only up to the waist. It's okay. But that's it. After that, the rain poured down a lot, mom~~ It poured down so much that the upstream couldn't handle it. Boom!!! It turned into cocoa crunch. We couldn't go back the same way. Because the water is as high as our chests and flows very fast. We put down our bags and cooked food to eat. And because everything is wet, we had to sleep like mackerels in the middle of the camp that night. It was really the best. That night, we felt like we slept for a very long time but it wasn't even a day yet. So the plan changed from 5 days and 4 nights to 6 days and 5 nights. And wait for the porters to lead the way up the mountain back to the meeting point. It's steep and far, but the way back through 2-3 mountains is very beautiful. It's so beautiful that you'll forget how tired you are. But the most impressive thing is that while we were stranded on the island, everyone helped each other a lot. From strangers, we became a gang ready to go. It was so much fun. Everyone helped each other a lot. Everyone has a very positive thinking. "I give it the best trip. The best year that I've been to in the forest."
