If you're traveling alone to Taipei, I recommend a cheap, cost-effective, and super convenient hostel. It's about a 7-10 minute walk from Beimen Station and about 10-15 minutes from Taipei Main Station, making it very convenient. There are 7-Eleven, FamilyMart, and many restaurants downstairs. I love its public area the most; it's very spacious and clean, perfect for both work and leisure interactions. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and tidy, and there's even a clothes drying area! The lobby is the best part, with a large and clean open kitchen, comfortable sofas, and a TV.

This super hidden bar is located next to a small door on B1 of Regent Hotel, beside Max Mara! It's so easy to miss!

Just went on a family trip to Taipei and stayed at ILLUME Hotel next to the Taipei Arena. Although it is a four-star hotel, it has the grandeur of a five-star hotel. This hotel is very suitable for attending concerts at the Taipei Arena, as it is just a short walk away. There are also many dining options nearby in the evening. The hotel room is still very spacious even after placing two beds, and it is clean and tidy. It also has a gym and an outdoor swimming pool, giving it a high-end feel. Highly recommend adding the buffet breakfast, the restaurant has a very high ceiling and is very beautiful.
Limited time "Jellycat" pop-up store at Taipei Station
# shopping #jellycat #limited pop-up store #gift recommendation #chrismas
I suddenly discovered that there is a pop-up counter for Jellycat and Carebears at Beijing Station B2. From now until January 6, 2025, there is still time to buy a gift at the end of the year🎁 There are many Christmas styles, including the classic Bashful Bunny rabbit and Toothy doll wearing a Christmas hat So cute😍
✔️Sports, food, and fruit styles are all available
✔️Very Taiwanese style pearl milk tea
✔️There are many styles of pendants, and the entry price is more attractive
🌟 JELLYCAT was founded in London, England in 1999. The brand has always used the best materials, cute and outstanding designs, becoming the most original and creative plush toy brand in the world, and has won the award of the softest toy brand in the world!

Authentic Chengdu 'Mm Chicken Knife' Skewers in Taipei for 10 NTD.
Taipei has opened a skewer hotpot restaurant, and its chain stores are increasing, creating a small trend. It is said that the owner is from Chengdu, and I personally think both the spicy and white broths are delicious. It's a late-night diner for spicy food lovers and night owls, open from noon to 5 AM. 😃
🌟 The entrance has a large red sign with colorful retro lights, and the overall decoration is very thoughtful! Inside the store, there are two large refrigerators with over 40 types of skewers, including vegetables, meats, and hotpot ingredients, all priced at 10 NTD per skewer (but the portions are small, perfect for friends with small appetites). Ordering a few meat dishes is still very satisfying.
🌟 Special Sichuan Spicy and Pork Bone Double Broth for 1-2 people costs 380 NTD. We chose mild spicy, which was not enough, so we went up to medium spicy, which was just right. The broth is flavorful with a good balance of spiciness, and it contains duck blood and tofu. Let it simmer for a while for an even better taste. 😋
🌟 You can grab skewers like pickled pepper beef, squid tentacles, tribute vegetables, and boneless ribs for 10 NTD each. The more you eat, the more addictive it becomes. For individual meat dishes, we recommend beef balls and Matsusaka pork. Sichuan wide noodles cost 150 NTD (a large bucket in China), the portion is small and expensive but chewy and delicious. Don't cook it too long, or you can replace it with Prince noodles for a more Taiwanese flavor. 💕
✔️ Do not order the pepper chicken feet! They are cold and hard.
💯 They also have red sugar glutinous rice cakes for dessert, perfect to end the meal. Remember to buy the 20 NTD spicy sauce with Baoning vinegar and chili oil. It's great for gatherings with friends, and the eating style is fun. Highly recommended! 👍

Yangmingshan National Park - In winter, plum blossoms and maple leaves dance together, making the journey more colorful
Yangmingshan National Park is famous for its magnificent natural landscape and rich ecosystem, among which the plum blossoms in bloom attract many tourists. Plum blossoms usually begin to bloom during winter, and around New Year's Day, you can even see the special time when plum blossoms and maple leaves exist together, making the journey more colorful.
Plum blossoms belong to the Rosaceae family and have unique flower shapes and fragrances. Its petals are usually white or pale pink, and the flowers open before the leaves, forming a characteristic of flowers first and leaves later, which makes plum blossoms particularly eye-catching in the cold winter season. The flowering period of plum blossoms is generally from January to March. During this period, the Plum Garden area of Yangmingshan will attract a large number of photography enthusiasts and tourists to take photos and appreciate these beautiful flowers.
In Yangmingshan National Park, plum blossoms are mainly concentrated in the Meiyuan area. The plum garden has a quiet environment where visitors can take a stroll and enjoy the fragrance of plum blossoms and the surrounding natural beauty.

An experience full of memories at "THE Doraemon Exhibition Taipei 2023"
Entering "THE Doraemon Exhibition Taipei 2023" at the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall is like returning to childhood, and those familiar scenes and characters instantly bring back full memories. As soon as you enter the venue, you can see the huge shape of Doraemon, which makes people happily pick up the camera and take pictures. Each area in the exhibition hall reproduces classic scenes, and there is also a prop experience area, making people feel like they are Nobita or Shizuka, traveling in the world of Doraemon.
Not only was it visually satisfying, the sound and interactive design of the exhibition also made me feel particularly warm. When you hear Doraemon's signature sound effects, the familiar melody makes people smile unconsciously. Especially when I saw Doraemon’s various magical props on display, I really wanted to experience the magical effect of the “any door”.
The entire exhibition is not only a reminiscence, but also allows people to relive the simple happiness that Doraemon brought us. In the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, this touch is particularly real and is definitely worth experiencing again.

✨Yangmingshan is one of the popular tourist attractions in Taipei, and the 🌸Yangmingshan Flower Clock🌼 is located in Yangmingshan Park. It is famous for its exquisite floral design and unique clock face, and is also a landmark attraction of Yangmingshan Park. ✨
🌼 As the seasons change, the types and colors of flowers will also change, forming beautiful flower scenes that change with the seasons. Cherry blossoms in spring, hydrangea in summer, miscanthus in autumn, each season has its own unique style. 🌾
Walking around the Yangmingshan Flower Clock and admiring the flowers and natural landscapes along the way makes you feel happy. This is the only time I missed the cherry blossoms in full bloom, unfortunately...
🌳 Surrounding natural environment
The natural environment of Yangmingshan is beautiful, surrounded by mountains and forests, and the air is fresh. There are many trails in the park for exploring and relaxing walks to enjoy the beauty of nature. ✨

Joy Jiu Yin - A New Style Chinese Restaurant and Bar.
Exquisite and stunning dim sum all at Jiu Yin!
I'm not exaggerating! The only exaggeration is how amazing Jiu Yin's dim sum is!
Jiu Yin is probably the best dim sum I've ever had!
How can delicious, exquisite, and stunning all happen in one restaurant 🥺
Must-try:
1. Jiu Yin Signature Steamed Dim Sum (Shrimp Dumpling King, Black Truffle Wild Mushroom Vegetarian Dumpling, Arctic Sweet Shrimp Siu Mai King)
2. Crispy Radish Pastry
3. Golden Hook Salted Dumpling
These three items need no further explanation; you have to taste them yourself to understand how delicious they are!
Now for the honest review, the bad parts need to be mentioned too!
⚠️ Basically, everything at Jiu Yin besides the dim sum is mediocre (leaning towards 👎🏼)
🙅🏻♀️ Signature Fried Rice
🙅🏻♀️ Yan's Secret Black Gold BBQ Pork
🙅🏻♀️ Almond Tea
It's not just me; many people think their dim sum is the only thing that's really good.
But for their dim sum, I will definitely visit again and continue to recommend it.
The most fashionable Internet beauty bar in Taipei East District: Cosmic Bistro 小Cosmos Restaurant
#bar #100 ways to travel
If you want to talk about the most fashionable starry sky atmosphere bar in the East District, you must recommend "Cosmic Bistro". It is a rare triangular window store in a building in the East District. It is based on the cosmic starry sky and fashion and elegance. The decoration is very beautiful and textured. Inside are all fashionable internet celebrities and beauties, which is quite pleasing to the eye.
The food at Little Universe is as high-quality as the bartending. The chef is an Australian Cordon Bleu and he cooks creative Western cuisine. Not only is the taste rich and layered, but the presentation is also a beautiful photo on the internet! The most recommended is the cherry duck breast with fig pasta. It is really amazing to be able to combine three ingredients with different flavors in such a delicious way.
The bartender has also won an international bartending competition award, and his skill is beyond praise. Like the food, the bartending is also unique in the decoration and presentation. It's really delicious and smooth to have a drink in an environment with beautiful lighting and beautiful atmosphere.

"Lovvs Burger" in Wenshan, Taipei🍔The endless joy of burgers
#burger #Americancuisine #milkshake #Jingmei MRT Station #Jingmei Night Market
🍔American flavor next to Jingmei Night Market! ! LovvsBurger definitely meets the preferences of gourmets who love affordable American cuisine! It is located near the night market and has convenient transportation. The interior of the store is full of American style with interesting layouts. The seating layout is spacious and comfortable, and there are also high chairs by the window. Suitable for family gatherings, couple dates, and friends gatherings.
🍔What’s amazing is their burger steak. Every bite is full of gravy and has a solid texture. It comes with a variety of cheeses and sauces. You can’t help but want to try each one. If you are worried about excessive calories, you can also choose to replace the hamburger buns with lettuce, which is super considerate.
🍝In addition to burgers, their pizza and pasta also perform well, with generous portions, affordable prices, and high CP value. There are also many options for extra-priced side meals, including onion rings and German sausages, both of which are above par. And the drinks also include American milkshakes!
🍔Super Sloppy Old Joe Burger: Small farmer's lettuce + fried onions, mixed with garlic sauce and spicy meat sauce, giving full play to the advantages of the hamburger steak, and the yogurt is the finishing touch!

Taipei's recommended green plant art bar 'Monkie'
Recently, I've been loving this stylish bar. The cocktails are almost always a hit, each one unique in its own way. The cocktail designs are beautiful, and the overall ambiance and lighting in the bar make it very comfortable, perfect for a drink. 🍸
🌟 The green plant art on the bar and the rows of liquor shelves behind it look stunning under the lighting. The arrangement of tables and chairs and the appropriate spacing make it very comfortable to sit. The copper mirrors on the ceiling and walls reflect the space, making it feel spacious.
🥂 There's a drink not on the menu called 'Old Taipei,' made with tea-distilled vodka or tequila. Each table is served complimentary popcorn, which is perfectly sweet and salty. 💕
🥂 Each person has a minimum order of two cocktails, with no time limit. The bar is newly opened but doesn't have many seats, so it's recommended to make a reservation in advance!
📍 No. 67, Dongfeng Street, Da'an District, Taipei City
Taipei's 'Yang Xin Tea House' revolutionizes traditional vegetarian cuisine.
🥗 As Taipei's first vegetarian dim sum restaurant, 'Yang Xin Tea House' is not only a paradise for vegetarians but also a surprising new taste experience for meat-eaters. The chef's exquisite culinary skills elevate vegetarian dishes to a new level, including innovative vegetarian dim sum and flavorful banquet dishes, successfully breaking the stereotype that vegetarian food is bland and proving that it can be delicious and diverse. The spacious banquet hall-like design combined with the warm tones of a traditional tea house makes guests feel comfortable and at home.
🥗 Radish Pastry: A must-try signature dish with a crispy exterior and a soft filling, perfectly balancing the sweetness of radish.
🥗 Heavenly Tofu Skin Roll: Stinky tofu wrapped in tofu skin, with the aroma of preserved egg that doesn't overpower, offering a rich texture.
🥗 Health Herbal Soup: Rich in ingredients and with a thick broth, perfect for a bowl in autumn.
🥗 Jade Leaf Delight: Clever use of nuts and mushrooms to create a crunchy texture, best enjoyed with fresh romaine lettuce.
🥗 Spicy Double Delight: Traditionally made with spices, this dish uses purely vegetarian ingredients like soybean crumbs, basil, and dried chili, paired with bamboo shoots and egg tofu for a unique taste worth trying!
🥗 Red Bean Pancake: Moderately sweet without the usual greasy taste, a perfect dessert to end the meal!
💲 Average spending is around 500~800 per person, credit cards accepted.

Taipei Night Market Guide
1️⃣Monga Night Market | There are fewer people in the night market. You can arrange your trip after Longshan Temple. The Longdu Bingguo opposite the night market is also worth a try. 2-4 | The top-notch sweet and spicy is worthy of being called top-notch. It is a very delicious Oden. The spicy sauce is particularly fragrant and the finishing touch.
2️⃣Raohe Night Market | There are so many people, you can almost be pushed around, it is quite lively and atmospheric 7-10 | Tonghua Street Ice and Fire Tangyuan is a novel way to eat, it is a bit easy to burn your tongue, and it is quite delicious when paired with ice and osmanthus sauce 5- 6 | The pepper cakes at the entrance of the night market are okay. They are freshly baked and fragrant, but I don’t think the pepper flavor is obvious, and they are not even as delicious as the ones I ate in Shanghai*
3️⃣Ximending | There are also quite a lot of people and it’s very lively 11-13 | The most popular thing about Wangfu Taro Balls is probably the Five Times Taro Balls, but they didn’t have it when I went there at night. The ordinary taro balls taste average, but the taro cubes are quite delicious. Opposite is a popular noodle shop
4️⃣Linjiang Street Night Market | Shopping, but I was too full so I didn’t buy anything
5️⃣Ningxia Night Market | Everyone said that I was resting. I really didn’t eat much at the night market, so I picked out some of the most famous ones. In fact, I also collected the guide to the South Airport Night Market, but I was a little late. It doesn’t matter, I’ll come back next time✌🏻

You can’t miss the all-you-can-eat fresh seafood in Taipei
Everyone knows that eating Japanese food in Taiwan is the most cost-effective. "Shangyin Fisheries" has been popular for many years and is still my favorite.
Although due to the impact of the epidemic, it is no longer as crowded with tourists as before, it is still crowded. It is a gourmet destination that you absolutely cannot miss when visiting Taipei. If you come to Taipei, you must come.

Songshan Cultural and Creative Park
Located near the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall Station on the Bannan Line in Taipei City, close to the Eastern District.
There are many delicious foods in the alleys around the MRT station, and the Taipei Dome is right next to it.
Recently, many important competitions and concerts have been held here.
This time, the main destination is the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park next to the Taipei Dome.
Songshan Cultural and Creative Park is a must-visit spot every time I come to the north.
The current site was originally the Songshan Tobacco Plant of the Taiwan Tobacco and Liquor Corporation.
The factory buildings have a very nostalgic architectural style.
It is now listed as a municipal historic site and serves as Taipei's original creative base.
There are various types of exhibitions in the A7 factory building.
There are also many cultural and creative products for shopping.
The A10 boiler room has been transformed into a coffee rest area.
You can taste coffee with different flavors from different regions inside.
The A1-5 warehouses are currently hosting Taipei Fashion Week, which is very lively.
Building B, Taipei Cultural and Creative Building, is also a trendy and creative shopping mall.
There are various DIY handmade learning products inside.
It is a must-visit cultural and creative style mall every time I come to the north.
