Booked a driver to explore Khao Yai that is located 3 hours from Bangkok! We went to Primo Piazza, a charming Italian town in which it comprises of cobblestone buildings, open air dining and a garden. The weather is not too hot when we reached and there are many locations for photo ops. There are also alpacas and sheep that you can feed. The ticket we bought comes with grass/feed for the farm animals. After this, we drop by the cafe for ice-cream. A hidden gem, Khao Yai that is located 3 hours from Bangkok! A charming town that is not too hot and has many scenic places to explore. First stop is Birder’s Lodge Farmer Market that is opened on the first weekend of every month. It is a small market that sell farm produce as well as local snacks/food. After exploring the farmer market, we went to Primo Piazza that is about 5 mins drive from the market. It is a charming Italian-theme attraction. The cobblestone street and building creates a chill atmosphere. There are also alpacas and sheep that you can feed. Anyone who drives to Khao Yai must have passed by PRIMO PIAZZA. The yellow European-style building, formerly called Primo Posto, was just a restaurant with a vineyard at the back. After the name was changed, more buildings were built. The highlight here is that there are alpacas, merino sheep, and donkeys for tourists to feed. The entrance fee is 100 baht for adults and 50 baht for children. The entrance ticket can be exchanged for alpaca food. In the zone that gathers all the fluffy four-legged animals, there are long-necked, big-eyed alpacas (Alpaca), adorable Merino sheep, and Donkey, a mischievous little donkey who traveled all the way from Australia. Here, there are about 30 Merinos and 20 alpacas, divided into 10 males and 10 females. As for Donkey, who is a bit pitiful, there are only 2, 1 male and 1 female. Here, they take good care of the animals. They are kept in a shed with good ventilation and fans to help circulate the air. Each animal lives in a free and independent environment, and is released to graze and stretch every afternoon at 3 or 4 p.m. Tourists can take photos and feed them up close during this time. #primopiazza #visitkhaoyai
