The Sinking House in Paris

Nearest metro stations: Anvers/ Abbesses/ Château Rouge (depending on which direction you start walking) Address: Parvis du Sacré-Cœur, 75018 Paris, France Famous for: the funny view of this house from behind the slope - it’s not actually sinking! Tourist spots nearby: Sacre Coeur, Place du Tertre, Museum of Montmartre, Wall of Love Personally I find it more interesting than the Eiffel Tower as it’s more visually striking and playful. If you visit in person and stand in front of this house, you will find nothing special- it erects firm and square on the room without any sign of sinking. You will have to walk behind a small slope to look at the house again, then you can play with the angle and take photos of the house as if it was sinking half way, a quarter or almost completely. The area is also famous for coffee shops, bakeries and local pubs. After walking to the 3-4 tourist spots, a cup of well-brewed coffee is a nice way to wrap up the day tour. #celebratewithtrip #Montmartre #sinkinghouse

Nearest metro station: Abbesses (once you get out of the station it is the Wall Address: Square Jehan Rictus, Pl. des Abbesses, 75018 Paris, France Famous for: having the word “love” in different languages on the wall Tourist spots nearby: Quatier de Montmartre, Saint Pierre Hall (contemporary art centre), Museum of Montmartre, Dalida monument, Sinking House An Instagramable tourist spot, there are many couples and families gathering around the wall to take sweet photos together. While there is nothing particularly special about the wall in other ways, there is always a line or groups of tourists there so you will need to wait in order to go close to the wall for taking pictures. Luckily there are quite a selection of other things to see in Montmartre, you can easily spend a day walking around the area and wrapping up the day in a quiet coffee shop/bakery or continental restaurant. #celebratewithtrip #montmartre #france

Vive La Paris!

#CelebrateWithTrip On our way to Louvre we walked along the river Seine on a warm autumn morning was relaxing and amusing. We saw the other side of the louvre. Most of the landmarks in Paris are walking distance so that was what we did, we walked to Sacre-Coeur or the Sacred Heart is located on the the hill in Montmartre. Sacre-Coeur is accessible by walking of by public transportations. We walked from Arch de Triomphe because we wanted to see all the amazing buildings, the little shops and the small streets where the lovely neighborhoods are. We passed by Moulin Rouge, a very popular cabaret in Paris where spectacular shows exists. We reached Sacre-Coeur and looking at this majestic and beautiful church is just amazing. I can’t stop staring at this magnificent work of art standing tall in front of me. The Sacred Heart church was done with critical hands and was built with fine artistry. Looking at this great piece of art made me even more grateful that I could enjoy this beauty that was already here even before I was born. The church and the buildings were restored properly so it will still be there for a longer time. Montmartre is one of the most beautiful districts of Paris. It is impossible to visit Paris without spending a few hours walking around in what is called the village of Paris. If I have a piece of advice for you, get up early, if you can be there at the sunrise and get off at the Lamarck-Caulaincourt metro station, which will already surprise you at its beauty. Then go and see the famous Maison Rose that is so instagramable and the vineyards of Montmartre, then stroll to the very renowned restaurant Le Consulat and finish your walk at the Sacre-Coeur. You can take a ticket to go up the basilica for a breathtaking view of Paris. The Basilica of Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre

Last full day to tour the remaining few attractions of Paris. This place was particularly near to my hotel so I decided to visit here first thing in the morning. Praying hard for good weather as I stared at the clouds. Nice place to visit if you are into architectures and probably pay to enter if you are a believer. If you are climbing through the park, BEWARE of the black Africans and DO NOT let them tie any strings on your wrists or you will be scammed as they gather around you (especially for solo travellers). #solo #paris #basilica #montmartre #sacredbuildings #church

Paris trip in winter❄️

It was -2°C when we reached Paris, we are freezing but luckily the weather became warmer in the following days🫶🏻 We managed to visit the Eiffel Tower, Trocadéro, Champs-Élysées, Montmartre, Notre dame, Arc de Triomphe etc. The area that we stayed in is very convenient because it is close to the Eiffel Tower, Dupleix Station and Rue de commerce. A Day In Montmartre - Food, Music, Views

Me & my mother took a walking tour around Montmartre & we have no regrets. This charming little area will have a hold on your heart for a lifetime! We started the walk from Moulin Rouge before proceeding to Van Gogh’s brother’s home, where Van Gogh spent a few years in Paris to pursue art. Learning the history of these places were nicely accompanied by the amazing architecture of these buildings - there were so many photo opportunities as well because of how symmetrical the streets were, how the cobblestone ground complimented the contrast of the skies. There’s also a Le Petit Train service, which i believe is 8 Euros, but I would recommend discovering this place by foot as the views were more aesthetic that way. There’s a market area for caricatures, paintings and food that tourists adore. Boulangeries are also common around this area, selling gelatos and pastries, even crepes! Sacre-Cour was the end point of the walking tour, and the views across from it were unbelievably beautiful. There are a lot of people selling ‘illegally’ here though, so watch out for pickpockets/scams! Do not buy the water, it’s dirty! Walking around Montmartre, you can also stumble upon La Maison Rose, which was seen in Emily In Paris as well!
