The Grand and Beautiful Light Exhibition.
The event at Sathat Thai Park
The grand and beautiful light exhibition is second to none ✨
It is a beautiful light exhibition with a vast area, definitely worth the ticket. Here you can rent Thai costumes and have a photographer take your pictures. A great opportunity for those who love photography to get some beautiful shots 🤗
The event has several zones, welcoming us with a beautiful garden. The reflection of lights on the water at night is very beautiful, with hanging lights and beautifully arranged lotus lights. My favorite area would be the various flower zones that offer bright and beautiful colors, and the zone where lights reflect off rocks and water, which is very relaxing and comforting. There's also a wide garden that projects beautiful natural images for viewing, and a long, magnificent light tunnel. It's another light exhibition that I would like everyone to try and visit 😊⭐️

The elite film festival in Cannes
The Cannes Film Festival is revered as the largest international and most prestigious annual film festival. Being part of that action is a draw for those in the industry and those who are not. Attending the 11 day film festival in May each year is high on many people’s bucket list. Top reasons are the elite feeling of the location on the French Riviera and being among the elite in the film industry. This access can range anywhere from standing on the outskirts and possibly getting a glimpse of celebrities from the big jumbo screens during the red carpet screenings each night to actually being invited to walk the red carpet at one of the star studded screenings. #trip #travel #france #cannes #festival
Bubble Art at West Kowloon
West Kowloon Park always offers excellent installation throughout the year. In March and early April this year, the Kowloon West Fun Festival displays lovely bubbles in the harbor-front lawn of the park. A design studio, Atelier Sisu from Australia, creates the bubbles.
I came here at night, and it was refreshing to immerse the bubbles with different light colors while enjoying the sea breeze. Spring is amazing.

The Mid-Autumnbfestival is just right round the corner and gardens by the bay is in collaboration with the festivals where you will be able to catch gorgeous glimpse of the lantern lights, bunnies, mooncake decorations, understanding the Chinese culture and how the mooncake festival came along, performances all happening here.
Best of it all, this has free entry but the parking spaces are quite limited around Gardens by the bay so do make sure you come here early or take the public transport so that you can experience the full walk of the night lights in the entire gardens.

Singapore's Oldest Roman Church
#mysgmemories #singapore #festival #event #history #church #educational
Singapore has its fair share of history and has some medieval look alike structures. One of which is the St Joseph church which is an inspired Portuguese church located at 143 Victoria Street, Singapore 188020.
Recently, the church was included in the Singapore night festival, this is where the church will be lighted up with coloured lights and instrumental music.
Upon walking into the church, you will be greeted with beautifully designed arches, colourful plastered floors. The originality of the church still remains and is one of Singapore's national monument The church is also still in service for worshippers and all are welcome.
LAWAS MACAM KAT HAT YAI
This picture was taken by me during Lawas Asian Floating Market Festival. It's first time for me to see so many people come to Lawas, Sarawak (btw, Lawas located between Brunei and Sabah, Malaysia). Every place was crowded, macam semut dah. It is inevitable since this event welcomed people and seller from other Asian country such as Brunei, Philippines, Indonesia and no to forget Sabahan also. There was local singer invited to enliven the atmosphere. Since dawn till dusk meriah orang bilang. #LAFMF2023 #awesomepic #deliciousfood #hatyai #makan2 #sarawak #festival
Qingdao International Beer festival 🍻
We spent the weekend in Qingdao and checked out Chinas October fest. Located just next to Golden Beach on the west coast. This is said to be the main venue and biggest one. We had a stroll around during daytime and came back around 8 in the evening. The festival itself is free to enter and there are tons of options for beer and other beverages, there are also plenty of options for food all over the place.
When we entered at the main gate in the evening there were fireworks coming from the beach area behind the main stage. There were several stages around playing all different kind of music.
There are lots of huge beer tents of different beer brands around the area both familiar brands and some I have never heard of, both foreign brands and several Chinese. We ended up at a little restaurant by the little German village inside the festival where we had local beer and some seafood. I do recommend finding a place to live nearby the festival area as it was really hard to get a DiDi out of there after closing time. Also please put on some comfy shoes as the area is massive. Super fun and a lot of people. I totally loved it and will go back if I get the chance.

Sunbear Festival 2022
Over the weekend, one of Kuching’s biggest and highly anticipated music festivals took place at Sarawak Cultural Village. This 2 day festival promised great music and great vibes which did not disappoint. However, sadly, just hours before the 2nd day of the concert, the organizers announced that one of their main acts was unable to make it for the festival. But that did not deter festival goers from going all out to performances by Ramengvrl, Phum Viphurit, Bunkface, Kilms, FUR, Reality Club and many more! #music #festival

Dedication of Bugaku at Yasaka Shrine Kyoto
Kyoto is full of historical shrines and temples, many of which have less well-known celebrations spread throughout the year. On the 3rd November, I stumbled across this event at the Yasaka Shrine.
The Dedication of Bugaku at the Yasaka Shrine in Kyoto takes place every year and consists of traditional dance, music and ceremony to honour the deities of the shrine. It was performed exclusively for the Japanese court for 1200 years, until after WWII when it was opened to the public.
I loved this insight into ancient Japanese dance and culture. First, the musicians entered, all wearing traditional costume and carrying their instruments. Once they started playing, they were followed by a series of performers, each of whom collected a traditional staff and completed a formal dance. They were then replaced by local schoolchildren who completed a group dance dressed in bird costumes.

This craft beer fest was held at the emerald pavilion in Sentosa, where they also loaded lots of claw machines with an incredible array of cute plushie collectibles. They even set up a cheese platter station to sell these to go with the beers. I enjoyed the live roving musicians that went sound singing familiar tunes.

Inside out festival
Address - Tan Quee Lan Street, Bugis, Singapore 188100
Inside Out Festival Singapore was one of the most interesting and memorable festivals I have attended. It was a highly artistic focused, design-centric festival that showcased the works of various artistes in Singapore. Some of the displays were quite epic and huge structures, like the lighted box in the middle of a quadrangle.
There was also edible art by Janice Wong, who designed bite-sized chocolates on lollipop sticks and decorated a whole room with them. Guests were invited to take one to try, super cool!

A Landscape Design Challenge was held among the students of Higher Education Institutes as part of the Singapore Garden Festival. There are 10 different teams in this competition and each team is given 4 hours. In this design-based competition, tiny gardens with strikingly different designs emerged. As a result, 10 different magnificent little gardens emerged, and they were all truly incredible.

Colorful lantern next to the dark sea side
Belcher Bay Promenade at Kennedy Town became one of the places which you can visit to see beautiful lanterns specially set up to celebrate mid-autumn festival. It wasn’t too crowded, unlike other more famous place like Victoria Park even during its peak hour.
Except the lanterns, there are some booths to do DIY activities for children. And if you feel tired, you can always sit on one of the many benches and rest your eyes on the calming dark sea and enjoy the night breeze.
Tips: better to go after the sun completely set

Full Moon+Lanterns = Time to Celebrate Mid Autumn Festival
Victoria Park in Causeway Bay is always lit up during the mid-autumn festival holiday in Hong Kong. Beautiful and colorful lanterns will be placed at the soccer court in the park and open to public to visit at night until the festival ended.
I went close to their closing time (11 PM) so the crowd really reduced a lot. There will be some people who selling glow-up in the dark accessories, lanterns and balloons if you fancy to do impulse buying on your visit. You can access the park from Causeway Bay MTR or Tin Hau MTR.

End of Buddhist lent festival
#grouptravel
If you are in Luang Prabang in the second week of October of each year then make sure you come to the Bun Awk Phan Saa Festival.
This takes place on the Me kong River and you can enjoy vibrant boat races on the water.
Bun Awk phan saa ( the End of Buddhist Lent Festival)t is Buddhist tradition to place the fireboat, and boats fashioned from banana leaves on the water with a candle inside and sail them down the river in order to dispel bad luck.
This is also a way of thanking the waterways of Laos and appeasing the naga which are mythical river snakes said to lurk beneath the surface.
This event will be holded in the second or third week of October of every year ( depending on some year the date will be earlier) along the Sisavang Vong and sakkarin road to Wat Xiengthong , Luang Prabang, Laos
