Trip Moments Recommendations
Focus on: north of Chile
I bet Chile doesn’t come to mind when you think about a beach vacation, but Playa Cavancha in Iquique is actually really nice. The beach has soft sand and the water is perfect for swimming and it is quite shallow and is safe for kids. It’s a cool spot where you can just chill out, and relax by the sea. The sunsets here are amazing, too.
What I liked was that everything you need is close by—cafes, shops, and food spots are just a short walk from the beach. It’s easy to grab a snack or drink if you need a break.
Just a heads-up: the sun can be pretty strong, so make sure to bring sunscreen. Also, walking along the boardwalk in the evening is a great way to wind down after a day at the beach.

One of the driest places on Earth... is so beautiful!
Visiting the Atacama Desert is an unforgettable experience, but it's not without its challenges. The landscape is stunning—vast salt flats, colorful lagoons, and unique rock formations. But you’ll need a sturdy SUV to navigate the rugged terrain if you plan to explore beyond the main tourist spots. Also, don’t expect a phone signal; it’s a true digital detox.
The quiet, wide-open space gives you a sense of peace that’s hard to find elsewhere. Fun fact: it's one of the driest places on Earth!
It's totally worth the trip, though. The beauty and isolation are unlike anything else.

🔹The national park is about 30 minutes from town. Hostels and hotels in town will help you arrange transport.

365 days active “Volcano Villerrica” at pucon
The Villarrica Volcano, which is 2,847 meters high, is the unquestionable figure in the national park bearing the same name and one of the biggest attractions for visitors to the tourist city of Pucón. Its original name is Rucapillán, which in the Mapuche tonge mens “house of the devil”. It would seem as if the devil still lived inside the Villarrica Volcano, because it has been one of the most active volcanoes in South America in the last few decades.#chile #adventure #tours #landscape
