Sambong Beach is located in Changgi-ri, Anmyeon-eup, Taean-gun. This expansive beach will leave you in awe the moment you step onto its shore. While it's a great place to visit during the day, the sunset here is particularly stunning. Make sure to check the sunset time and visit to enjoy the beautiful sunset! (Watching the changing colors of the sky and sea at different times is also a delight!) #myhiddengems While waitimg for our bus to Island Resom at Taean Central Bus station, we dropped by this cafe called Kopi Bali, specializing in making coffee using Balinese coffee beans. The cafe has a very stylish interior design and some cozy chairs to relax on. We ordered 2 cups of hand dripped Balinese specialty beans coffee, and they are really good. The aroma of the beans is really earthy, and the freshly grinded coffee immediately fills the mouth after sipping. It is really a nice waiting experience, especially when you found something interesting.

#myhiddengems We were having our vacation at Island Resom and while looking for a place for dinner, we fpund this restaurant called Damsot selling rice in hotpot, and you can choose various items to be added on top, like beef steak, salmon, eel etc. We ordered 2 sets of hotpot rice with cube steaks and grilled eel, and a side dish of prawn and brinjal cutlet. The taste was incredibly excellent, ths riceis soft yet crispy at the bottom and side. The brinjal and prawn cutlet is also awesome, crispy at the outside and soft in the inside. The vacation is made better with the nice dinner, satisfying indeed.

#myhiddengems Anmyeondo is an island located offcoast from Taean gun. We took a bus from Taean city and reach the end of the route when we are about to walk to Island Resom, we stopped by this cafe called Del Mar Hotel and Cafe. It is a hotel by original and has a cafe below but we have just visited the cafe. We ordered the Philadelphia Cheese cake and Americano, and the interior is very nice and cozy. Hearing the rain drops peter pater outside the cafe is also very comforting, and the afternoon is really well spent, and I really yearned for such atmosphere everytime.

#myhiddengems Crab soup is the famous delicacy in Taean, and this shop called Deoksu Sikdang serves an excellent pot of crab soup. We ordered a pot for 2 pax which comes with two big flower crabs in a soy bean paste pot stew. The side dish is also very scumptious and they even serves soy sauce crab as side dish, which is very generous for a restaurant. Each crab is full of flesh and we nibbled each and every parts of the crab so as not to miss any of the flesh. A meal costs 34000 won for 2 which is reasonable for a scumptious meal like this, and we definitely will go again.

#myhiddengems We were visitng Taean and would like to try some local dishes, so we went to this famous lical restaurant callrd Bap Cho, where the locals frequently patronage. One of their famous dish is the stewed cutlass fish but we added the fried spicy pork slices. The dishes were prepared fast and we tasted them immediately, they were so good to go with rice and we enjoyed them so much. You will know the restaurant is good when you see many locals walking in and they know the owner of the shop, giving the unspoken testimony of good food. A very good dimner experience in anotjer town.

#outdooradventures #100waysoftravel During our vacation at Anmyeon-do, Taean, we ventured onto an outdoor adventure of ATV Go Kart ride, and this is a very exciting adventure. We were brought by the leader along the road, then to the empty beachfront where there are plenty of space for us to ride our vehicle. There are also other members joining our convoy, so that makes our trip much more fun. The difference between a Kart and an ATV is that a Kart can fetch 2 person and does not require a driving license ro operate, but an ATV requires a license to operate and only 1 person per vehicle. It was a very exciting adventure and we will do it again.

#poolhotel #100waysoftravel We plan to go for a short weekend getaway from Seoul, and we found this hotel at Taean called Island Resom Hotel & Spa. This is a hotel meant for healing and relaxation, and it has a spa in it. Consisting of 200 rooms including pensions, it provides one of the best amenities among hotels in Korea. There is an outdoor spa available for usage and guests can pay an extra fee to use the outdoor spa. The view is excellent especially sunset. At night, there are performance available at the verandah and you can purchase some drinks and food to enjoy it. The beach also offers activities such as canoe and paddle board. Our hotel room faces directly to the sea so we get an excellent view from our balcony. It was a great getaway and we will like to return here in the future.

There were also many fun events and activities for families and children, which made the visit full of energy and fun. The cafe and stalls in the park offered delicious snacks and drinks 🍧🍹. The staff at the park were very friendly and helpful, making the experience more comfortable and enjoyable. #springblossom Hands down the best festival that I've been to in Korea. The tulips were absolutely gorgeous and there was plenty to see and do (and eat!) There was a foreigners discount on admission tickets so that was a pleasant surprise.It's an impressive and very exciting flower garden. We can arrange a beautiful flower garden. There are a lot of tulips. You need to take a pattern of turning any corner and press the shutter. It feels very good, and I recommend it if my friends want to travel. Please come to Thean, I'm not disappointed with the tulip festival.

Taeanhi, which has both privacy and emotion! It was a really peaceful and comfortable place to stay and have a proper sleepover. This is Mellow Days Cafe located in Taean. The palm trees give it a comfortable Jeju-like feel. Located on the the west coast of Korea in Taean. Accessible by bus. I took a bus to Taean bus terminal then a cab to the hotel. I arrived late so no more buses running. A cab ride cost me about 30,000 KRW. If you decide to take the bus back to the terminal make sure you check what the times are and plan accordingly. These are rural buses and run a little later sometimes. If you want a cab, I would would recommend catching a cab from the bus stop. After checking in I went to go look at the beach. The tide was low. The side of the beach I was on is the quieter side and the lively side is on the opposite end. The middle section of the beach they have surfing equipment for rent and offer lessons if you want it. They also have paddle boarding. I also saw people riding jet skis and boat. They also have beach markets set up in this section. I think they called this section of the beach “water park”. The opposite end of my hotel is the lively side. They have restaurants, cafes, and a fair like park next to the beach. People shoot fireworks off in this side of the beach. There is also a giant water structure on this end. It is a good photo spot. The fair is located across the beach they have fair games, snacks and a couple rides. You could also rent the two wheeled motor bikes to drive around.
