A trip to Suzhou, a reverse tour, an unpopular city.
What is it like to go to an unpopular tourist city to stay in a hotel and relax when the weather suddenly turns cold? What is it like to stay in a five-star hotel for about CNY 300 in an unpopular city? Experience a different life and live with a different attitude. Suzhou Fonda International Hotel is located in the High-tech Development Zone of Suzhou City, west of the main road of the city, Renmin Road, and south of the Xinbian River Scenic Belt and Delta Ecological Park. The hotel lobby is magnificent. The hotel is surrounded by Xinbian River Park, which is very large and has a good environment. After checking in, I lay down in the hotel for a while. The hotel has not been open for a long time, and the overall environment is good, including hardware and software, which are very good. The bathroom is very clean, and there is a large bathtub for bathing. I went for a walk in the park before dinner in the afternoon. The park is by the river, and the surroundings are well built. There are not many people, probably because of the cold weather, which is very suitable for wandering alone. The only bad thing about this hotel is that it is about 2 km away from the city center. It is surrounded by newly built communities, and there is no place to eat. You have to call Didi to travel.
I called a Didi to the city center at about 5:30 and found a place to eat rolls, which was a roll on a stall at the intersection. The roll was made of potato shreds, flour, and a dish fried with eggs, with my favorite fermented beans. It was CNY 5 per serving, cheap and delicious. There are many restaurants serving mutton soup here. I found a Xiaoxian mutton soup restaurant and ordered a CNY 15 mutton offal soup. The mutton offal was very rich. I drank the mutton offal soup with the roll, which was delicious. After drinking the mutton offal soup, I felt warm. On this cold night, I felt warm. The consumption in Suzhou is not expensive, and there are many places to eat beef and mutton, and the taste of each restaurant is not bad.
Back at the hotel, I filled the bathtub with water at 8:30, took a bath, and prepared to stay up late to watch the World Cup. The Netherlands vs. Qatar match was 2:0. After watching the game, I went to bed and slept until 8:00 the next morning. After breakfast at the hotel, I ended my trip and returned to Hefei. Before returning to Hefei, I went to a lane to eat a He Pan noodle, a CNY 12 fried noodle with shredded meat. After eating the fried noodles, I took a bus to Suzhou East Station.

The historical site of the uprising led by Chen Sheng and Wu Guang
The historical site of the uprising led by Chen Sheng and Wu Guang is located near Liucun Village, about 40 kilometers southeast of Suzhou City in Anhui Province. The site is a funnel-shaped platform, rising 4.5 meters above the ground, with a length of 67.6 meters from east to west, and a width of 65.5 meters from north to south, sloping from north to high to south to low. To the south of the platform stands a marble statue commemorating the uprising of Chen Sheng and Wu Guang.
Shegutai (also known as Shegutai, Shegutai, or Shelutai) was an ancient desolate marshland, hence the name 'Daze Township'. There used to be a primary school on the platform, which was relocated to the southwest of the platform in 1983. On the platform, there are four stone steles from the 14th year of the Ming Wanli era (1586), the 29th year of the Qing Daoguang era (1849), the 17th year of the Qing Guangxu era (1891), and the 32nd year of the Republic of China (1943). The 'Shegutai Reconstruction Stele' from the 29th year of the Qing Daoguang era records: 'The shooter was Chen She, and the platform was the platform where Chen She practiced martial arts and beat the drums.' During the Ming Wanli era, funds were collected to build the 'Lotai Temple and cast a bell, covering a bell tower.' These ancient buildings have been destroyed, but only the earth platform and stone steles remain. In 1984, a memorial hall was established on Shegutai, with sculptures of Chen Sheng and Wu Guang.

Traveling through Anhui, how to enjoy a solo trip in Suzhou
Suzhou is home to the ancient city ruins of Qi County, Xiaoshankou site, and the ruins of Guta Temple. During the Zhou Dynasty, Qiyi was first established. The name 'Suzhou' originated from the Spring and Autumn period when 'the State of Song moved the State of Su here.' Su Shi, a literary figure from the Northern Song Dynasty, referred to Suzhou as 'the foremost prefecture south of the Huai River' in his poem 'Nanxiangzi·Suzhou Shangyuan.' Suzhou is an important birthplace of Chu-Han culture and Huai River culture. Attractions:

Suzhou Bian River Museum: The entire building is shaped like a giant ship with sails, known as 'Voyage'
I am Guanhai Tingtao tour+ global traveler, please follow me!
(Published the 1624th travel photography article in 56 countries/regions across 5 continents)
The Suzhou Bian River Museum is located on the south bank of the new Bian River scenic area in Suzhou city, with the shape of a giant ship sailing far away.
The meandering Bian River has nurtured Suzhou, and in history, amidst the mist and clouds, the Bian River winds for thousands of miles, with hundreds of boats competing. To ensure the transportation along the Bian River, Suzhou was established in the fourth year of Yuanhe during the reign of Emperor Xianzong of Tang, with the ancient Bian River flowing through the city, unveiling the history of Suzhou's establishment. Thus, Suzhou became an important town along the Bian River and a gathering place for merchants and famous traders.
The entire building of the Bian River Museum is called 'Voyage', symbolizing the development of Suzhou setting sail. The upper sail is a red irregular steel structure, 26 meters high, and the base of the ship is divided into three exhibition halls, which display the past, present, and future of the new Bian River respectively.
The museum is open from Tuesday to Friday, from 9 am to 11:30 am, and from 3 pm to 5 pm, with free admission.
Coupl’s garden
The couple’s farden is one of the most beautiful gardens in Suzhou. Early morning visit was a medititive and restful Great harmony of nature and architecture.

Amazing Suzhou - a cultural tour
Suzhou is always on my list as one of the must visit place in China. it doesn’t matter how many times you have been yet you still find the rich cultural on each trip. To avoid the crowd in the popular tourist destination, I always rather spend a whole day in the Elite Bookstore mall where you can browse thousand of books and find lots of local products plus the food. After that one can take MRT and ventured into Qi Li Shan Tang which an old town with small river and bridges. But it will get busier at night so make sure you leave just before 7 and make your way to Ping Juang Lu and ready for my favourite Qun Qu show. if
