Tower Bridge 🇬🇧
#londontrip
The famous Tower of London Bridge is definitely a place I would recommend to visit if you are in London. The views from above are spectacular and have glass floors that you can stand on to see the road and the River Thames from above. It also has many facts, videos, and even some interactive parts. Tickets also include access to engine rooms that were equally interesting. However, if you don’t want to wait 20-30 minutes, book in advance! Overall, the experience was an experience you didn’t want to miss!
It’s “just a part of the London scene” – I had no idea I could walk through the top of this iconic London structure! What a great experience The option of stairs or elevator takes visitors to the “top” and from here you have the option to walk through the length of the bridge through the glass walkway or across the “normal” floor! Great discussions and challenges on the part of most people. I admit I chose to do half and a half!
Although it was gray and cloudy, the views were great. It was great to see the Tower of London, which had been England’s tallest building for centuries, dwarfing in front of the city’s modern buildings.
From the walkway we were then able to visit the Victorian machinery gallery that once ran this bridge. Machines that were works of art! Definitely worth a visit.

Oldest and Biggest Food Market in London
When you're in London, I think Borough Market is one of the must visit place in your list if you are a food lover! It is one of the largest and oldest historic food market hall in Central London for artisan food and organic produce. It is easily accessible by bus and tube! Take a tube to London Bridge Station through the Jubilee Line Tube and you can walk to Borough Market from the station!
There are various types of food there including variety of cheese, coffee, seafoods, desserts and chocolates. We bought white chocolate swirl from one of the stalls that sells handmade chocolate and it tastes so unique and different from other chocolates ive ever tasted!
Most stalls provides testers so you can actually taste before making your decision on which one to buy! The sellers are super friendly and kind enough to explain to you about their products.

Tallest Building in the UK 🏴🇬🇧
#londontrip
When we were still planning for our London trip, The Shard came out as one of the tourist spots that must be visited. It is the UK's tallest building afterall standing tall at 309.6 meters high. We walked down the river path across it and on the way there and we saw it standing magnificent so we decided to stop and took some photos.
We went there to eat at the aqua shard so we had the chance to see London's skyline without going to the observatory deck.
Entry Cost: 32 pounds for general cost
42 pounds includes fast track entry and a panoramic booklet.
SUGGESTION: Having your meal at one of the restaurants at the shard will cost more however you'd be more relaxed with great food and just as stunning views of London's skyline.

London’s Classic Bridge!
Attraction name: London Bridge
Location: Southwark, London.
Tower Bridge is the most well known bridge in Europe. The brilliant architecture and design is so superb and allows for wonderful photographs. Stand in front of the Shard and enjoy the view of the bridge with Tower of London to the left.
I recommend walking along the bridge and admiring the brickwork close up. You can also pay a small entry fee to enter the bridge towers and learn more about its historical significance.

London Bridge
Finally crossing the London Bridge! It was a fairly long walk on the bridge but it was a fun experience! Thankful for the nice weather and not too crowded too :)
We also took a boat ride, apparently is an official way to get to another station, like taking the tube, the only different is that one is on land and their other is on water.
Don’t get mistaken with Tower Bridge
#ldninsider
London Bridge, famous for the song ‘London Bridge is Falling Down’ was much more interesting in its past incarnations. When it was built in medieval times, it was filled with shops and people actually lived on the bridge. London Bridge has actually fallen or burnt down many times in its turbulent history and now it stands as quite a plain, but dependable fixture on the Thames. It's much often confused with the Tower Bridge (inconized in many photos about UK or London).
The London Bridge that still stands today dates from 1973. So, despite the fact London Bridge has existed here the longest, the actual bridge standing today is one of the more modern bridges over the Thames in London.

Tate Modern: A Gallery of Infinite Perspectives
In the heart of London, the Tate Modern stands as a testament to contemporary creativity. As I wander through its industrial-chic halls, I'm transported to worlds born from artistic minds. Each piece defies conventions, inviting me to question, feel, and connect.
The Turbine Hall's vastness embraces installations that challenge boundaries. Paintings, sculptures, and multimedia exhibits offer a kaleidoscope of thoughts and emotions. I stand before the works of Warhol, Picasso, and Hockney, realizing that art isn't confined to canvases – it's an exploration of ideas.
Tate Modern is more than a museum; it's a sanctuary for free thought. Amidst its labyrinth of galleries, I'm reminded that art is a mirror, reflecting our world and ourselves. Here, I find solace, inspiration, and the realization that amidst life's complexities, there's always a canvas to explore.

Exploring modern and contemporary art
#ldninsider
Tate Modern, for example: the city’s leading art spot is also the most popular modern art gallery in the world. Which, surely, is something to shout about. Housed inside the imposing shell of the old Bankside Power Station, the Tate Modern is a relatively young art gallery.
The gallery is London’s most-visited attraction, having recently overtaken the venerable British Museum; it pulls in a whopping 5.5 million visitors annually. This is the reason why you should visit this museum on your trip to London.
Tate Modern is all about the here and now. Everything you’ll find within the gallery is modern art, dating only as far back as 1900.
