Welcome to the Sea City Museum in Southampton
Welcome to the Sea City Museum in Southampton! Get ready to be swept away on a journey back in time to the incredible story of the Titanic.
As soon as we stepped foot inside, we were instantly transported to the early 20th century. The excitement in the air was palpable, just like it must have been for those who embarked on the Titanic. This museum beautifully showcases the history of Southampton, the city that played such a crucial role in the Titanic's ill-fated journey.#holiday #uk #travel

Mayflower Park, Southampton
Mayflower Park, Southampton#LocalTourism #Southampton
The location is in SO14 2AQ. I have been in Nan'an for such a long time but never went in to take a look. I heard that this is the departure point of the Titanic. I didn't go in when I came here before because there was a sailing station here. I chose a day with good weather to come here and take a look. The sun shining on the sea is super beautiful. Surprisingly, the seabirds are not flying in the sky. They are all resting on the lawn. I guess they are taking a lunch break. Hahahaha. When the weather is fine, it is a good place to relax in Mayflower Park.

Southampton
It is a comfortable small town. It is not as lively as London, but it is a livable city with lots of sunshine and occasional rain. It feels good to take the bus or stroll around on foot. The people here are also very enthusiastic and will give you a smile when they meet you. Although there are not many famous attractions, it is beautiful in itself. You can stroll along the seaside or take a short ferry ride to the small town of Hayes to watch the sunset. The evening sky in Nan'an is always pink and purple, very romantic. Many parks here are suitable for relaxation. There are swans in Reverside Park, where you can feed them with bread. There is also Mayflower Park, etc. Some museums, such as Seaside City Museum, introduce the history of Nan'an and the history of the Titanic.

Southampton Quays
Southampton is a vibrant port city. In addition to being a popular cruise port with many cruise ships shuttling back and forth, it has many luxury cruise routes and several container terminals. Along the pier you can see the clear coastline and the endless sea, which is very beautiful.

Southampton Old Town
Visitors to the old town of Southampton can not only explore along the old city walls and learn about the changes of the city, but also walk into the old town for a tour. In addition to seeing many historical relics, you can also visit the Tudor mansion with a history of more than 800 years.
Another focus of the historical exploration tour is the historic building Bargate, which was the main city gate of Southampton in the past.
Bargate, a city gate built by the Norman dynasty in the 12th century, has been guarding the city of Southampton since ancient times. The towers on both sides and the gathering place above were added later. Perhaps God has always favored this historic building, since its completion, many British monarchs and dignitaries have entered and exited through the passage below it, allowing Bargate to survive the German bombing and continue to witness the changes of Southampton over the years.

Waves of History at Southampton Port
#southamptontrip
A trip to Southampton Port is where history meets the horizon. Strolling along the waterfront, you can almost hear echoes of Titanic’s departure and the many voyages that began here. Cruise ships dock like floating cities, while seagulls glide above the salty breeze. Explore the old city walls, discover maritime museums, or simply watch the ships go by with a warm drink in hand. Southampton offers a perfect blend of coastal charm, naval legacy, and modern waterfront life.

Solo Trips | Worth the Journey ⛰️
I decided to go to the White Cliffs on a whim. Even if the weather was bad and no one was traveling with me, I seemed to need someone to accompany me when I grew up. I had to be brave enough to step out of my comfort zone. The solo trips ended perfectly🔚 The weather was great, the sky was blue and the clouds were white. I listened to music along the way and enjoyed the scenery. After arriving at the White Cliffs, I watched the sea, smelled the grass, played with the puppy, and lay on the grass to bask in the sun. I was fully charged💕
🚄Southampton central, Southampton, departed at 9:28 and arrived in Eastbourne at 12:04. I had to change buses in Brighton, which took 2 hours and 36 minutes
I originally planned to take the sightseeing bus, but there was no signal, so I asked two UUs on the roadside to share a car and go directly to Birling Gap station

Southampton Day Trip | Happiness Beyond Imagination

Southampton Day Trip | Happiness Beyond Imagination
Oxford➡️Southampton train 1.5h direct, £20 round trip. Taking advantage of the sunny weather and aiming to unlock new maps, I didn't expect the experience to be quite good!
1st Stop: IKEA. Rare to have an IKEA right next to the train station! As soon as I arrived, I enjoyed cheap meatballs and even got a sea view, super satisfying! Heard there was a half-price sale yesterday on Friday, so jealous...
2nd Stop: Tudor House. The site isn't big, but it's quite interesting! Before the tour, watch an immersive movie to learn about the 800-year history of the ancient house, then walk around the rooms turned into exhibition halls to experience ancient British life, and finally visit the garden to see the old city walls and bask in the sun, very relaxing. One room even has costumes for interactive photos 😂
Museum student ticket is £7 on the spot, a bit pricey, but you can enter as many times as you want within a year with the receipt? No ticket needed if you only go to the museum cafe?
3rd Stop: Mayflower Park. A large parking lot by the sea with many people coming to see the sea. Took a stroll and felt my mood broaden.
4th Stop: Ancient City Gate + Pedestrian Street: There are many snack stalls in front of the ancient city gate, crowded with people, not good for photos. Found an Alice+Olivia dress for £12.5 in a charity shop on the pedestrian street in the city center, a nice souvenir.

Cathedral in Southampton is so Bright🌟🥰
#southamptontrip
Day1: Arrived at Winchester Railway Station at noon, a ten-minute walk away is Winchester Cathedral, with student tickets at £7. For some reason, whenever the sun is out, the lawn is filled with Brits.
After visiting the cathedral, a five-minute walk leads to Winchester's quaint streets, where every snapshot is like a painting. Not far away is Inn Park, frequented by local families with children and school kids just released from class. Public transport is convenient, offering direct access to the railway station.

"Anthem of the Seas: The Coolest Ship You’re Not Cruising On (Yet!)" 🚢✨
#cruiseholiday
Okay, Anthem of the Seas isn’t just a cruise ship—it’s a floating tech playground with a side of gourmet food and wild nightlife. I just got back, and my adrenaline levels still haven’t dropped. Here’s the lowdown:
First Impressions:
Walking into the Royal Esplanade felt like stepping onto a sci-fi movie set—glowing LED trees, robot bartenders mixing drinks, and the smell of fresh-baked pretzel dogs (shoutout to Café Two70 🥨). The energy? "We’re here to geek out AND party."
The "Wait, This Is a SHIP?!" Moment:
North Star—a glass pod that lifts you 300 feet above the ocean for Insta-worthy 360° views. But the real hidden gem? The Music Hall’s secret late-night jam sessions (where the crew actually rocks out). 🎸
Foodie Obsession:
Jamie’s Italian had me inhaling truffle pasta like it was my job. But the Sorrento’s midnight pizza? A sacred post-club ritual. 🍕
My "No Sleep, Just Yes" Itinerary:
⏰ 9 AM: Bionic Bar espresso martini (robots make better coffee than humans).
⏰ 12 PM: iFly skydiving simulator (turns out I cannot fly).
⏰ 4 PM: Solarium nap (adults-only + ocean views = perfection).
⏰ 8 PM: We Will Rock You show (headbanging required).
⏰ 11 PM: Silent disco in Two70 (danced like my ex was watching).
Pro Tip:
Book Spectra’s Cabaret early—it’s a trippy mix of lasers, drones, and acrobatics. Also, Two70’s secret breakfast pastries are elite.
Final Verdict: 11/10, left with zero regrets and a burning need to go back. Who’s joining me? 😏
