The Boatbuilders Yard, a restaurant next to the Yarra River. The shop is located behind the convention center. The location of the shop is very good because the area where we sit will allow us to see the sunset clearly. It's also very romantic. The seating is divided into two zones. The zone where you can eat is the zone with sand. It feels like you're by the sea. The other zone is for drinking. There are many drinks to choose from. The food we ate was fish & ship. The taste was a bit ordinary. As for the price, it might be a bit expensive, but when compared to the view and atmosphere, it's worth it. 😂 The price starts at 10++ AUD. If you're looking for a place to chill with a beautiful view, this is another place that fits the bill. The atmosphere is really good. It’s not a very big room, but the show is great. You feel like you are part of the show sometimes. You can just sit or even lying down and enjoy the show. With the cartoon and music, the painting becomes vivid. You can even draw a picture by yourself. There are other choices you can choose, like the VR show and enjoy the show in the restaurant where has the best view of the show.

#australiatrip For our wedding anniversary trip, we took a short trip to Melbourne. It was in September so it was still pretty chilly which was a nice escape from the tropical heat. We stayed at St Kilda for the first half of the trip just to get away from city life. Our hotel was walking distance to the beach and the pier so it was nice to be able to just walk around everywhere. You can actually observe a colony of little penguins at St Kilda Pier and Breakwater in the evenings. We couldn’t take flash photography and it was pretty dark in the evening so we didn’t get to snap many photos unfortunately. In the day, we took a stroll to the beach and had lunch at Donovan’s which had a lovely terrace facing the water. We were seated at a table next to the window with ocean views so that was nice! The menu was comfort Australian food and it was delicious. There were so many lovely little restaurants at St Kilda so my husband and I were spoilt for choice. We love Italian food so we had pizza at a quaint Italian joint, Topolino’s. Following that was coffee and chocolate tart at another Italian restaurant, Cafe Di Stasio. Melbourne has lovely markets and we visited South Melbourne Market and the oldest market in Melbourne, Queen Victoria Market. We usually tend to visit malls so these bustling vintage markets with a huge array of food and retail options was something we massively enjoyed. One of the things you will notice about Melbourne is the street art and one of the places that you’ll get to see these vibrant artworks is Hosier Lane. Graffiti, usually frowned upon in other cities is celebrated here, and as it should! These street artworks are so gorgeous and the bright splashes of colour add a vibrancy to an otherwise average alley. Though it was a short holiday, we thoroughly enjoyed Melbourne and it was a nice and relaxing escape from the tropical heat of Singapore. #travel #couplestrip #thingstodo

For this trip to Melbourne, I chose the Pan Pacific Melbourne at 2 Convention Centre Place. The hotel is located in the heart of Victoria, with convenient transportation, within walking distance to the Yarra River and the city's major attractions. It's a super convenient choice! 🚉🛥 The hotel is in a great location, especially for those attending events at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. It's within walking distance to the convention center, which is very convenient. The hotel is very modern and well-equipped. The front desk is efficient and attentive, and we couldn't wait to explore the hotel after a quick check-in. 🏨✨ We booked a Premier King City Skyline View room, which was spacious and bright with an unbeatable view of the Yarra River and the city skyline. The bed was super comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. There was also a great work desk and high-speed internet, which was perfect for us as we needed to get some work done. The bathroom was small but well-designed, with a separate shower and toilet, and was clean and tidy. 🛌💤🖥 There are plenty of dining and entertainment options nearby. You can enjoy shopping and choose from many trendy restaurants. I highly recommend Chilli India and Da Guido La Pasta nearby, which offer delicious food at a great price. In the evening, you can take a leisurely stroll along the Yarra River and enjoy the beautiful night view along the river, which is a great place to relax! 🍝🍕🌆 However, there were some minor disappointments during this stay. For example, the room service was sometimes a bit negligent, and the bathroom was not cleaned very well. I also had a fire alarm in the middle of the night, which was a bit scary, although there was no real danger. In addition, the closure of the River View Executive Lounge was not notified in advance, which was a bit inconvenient. 🙈🚨 Overall, the Pan Pacific Melbourne was still a good stay. The location, service, and facilities were all excellent. Although there were some minor flaws, they did not affect the overall comfort and convenience. I recommend it to those traveling to Melbourne for leisure or business! 🍹🏛

Having traveled across more than 80 countries around the world, I never expected that Australia would be the seventh continent I have visited. At this point, I have traveled all over the world. This time I came to Melbourne on a business trip, but in between work I still felt the leisurely feeling in the DNA of one of the “Top Ten Most Livable Cities in the World”. Stay at the Pan Pacific Melbourne Hotel on the Yarra River Wharf. The entire hotel lobby is designed to look like the interior of a sailboat. The ocean-patterned carpets and coral-designed walls commemorate the new continents discovered during the Age of Exploration. The view from the 270-degree panoramic suite is amazing. When I opened the curtains, the early summer sunshine from the southern hemisphere poured into the room. The housekeeper said, "Here is all the Melbourne you want." I think it was at this moment that I fell in love with Melbourne. Strolling along the Yarra River downstairs, playing "Spend the Long Years with You" on repeat, I want to come to Melbourne and be a seagull in my next life. A day trip in Melbourne is enough for walking. We tried our hand at drawing some sketches of Da Vinci's works in the in-built art class. The sketches were difficult, but it was still fun to do!✏️ Afterwards, we went to the lovely, stylish Cafe Medici, also inside the main room, where mummy ordered us all some gelato! It was styled beautifully in the background, like an authentic Parisian cafe!🇫🇷🍨 After laying down on the beanbags again to watch the art presentations some more, we went to one of the corridors where we saw some beautiful paintings by Leonardo Da Vinci, including of course, the Mona Lisa! but not only did we see the painting, we learned about it too. There are 5 different versions of the Mona Lisa, same painting, but different colour tones (They couldn't all fit in one shot so we divided it into two shots, 3 in 1, 2 in the other)🎨 #voyagevibes #familytrip #art #deliciousfood

We went into the big room at the LUME where we were shown not only Leonardo da Vinci's art, but other Renaissance artists as well such Michaelangelo and Botticelli among others. The artworks were amazing and when they showed artworks from the chapels it almost felt like you were right there💒 In between presentations, we'd get colourful visuals, which were cool too! Not only could you sit to watch the art, but there beanbags on which you could lay down! It's a perfectly wonderful way to immerse yourself in the visuals. Mummy took us to the Leonardo da Vinci exhibition at the LUME today and we have so many pictures, we can't fit them all into one post! So this post is more about his inventive side as well as his art, since he had so much talent in many areas! We saw sketches and papers which were written by Leonardo himself! Ah, lá LUME in Melbourne is out of this world! I was most privileged, along with my beautiful cub to go to the immersive Impressionist exhibition at the LUME art gallery with mummy. It had such beautiful music in the background while showing various Impressionist pieces of art. There was also a room with mirrors, and corals and blue light to make us look like we're under the sea, and a lovely little French cafe to top it off! Too bad it's not a permanent fixture, but nevertheless mummy wants to take us here again for the Leonardo da Vinci exhibition next month!
