Exploring Raffles Place: Iconic Art and Optimism by the Singapore River
#pictureforperfectsingapore
Getting There - Raffles Place is conveniently accessible via the Raffles Place MRT Station, located on both the North-South and East-West MRT lines.
Attractions - One of the notable attractions in Raffles Place is the impressive Big Bronze Bird sculpture situated outside UOB Plaza along the Singapore River. Designed by renowned Colombian artist Fernando Botero and inaugurated in 1990, this large, rounded bird symbolizes joy and optimism. Its presence in the heart of the bustling financial district provides a unique contrast and serves as a reminder of positivity amid the fast-paced city life.

Playground by Singapore River
#staycation
My berry loft-cation at Studio M Hotel and I want to show you this public playground just right at Robertson Quay. It is also a public park integrated with the pedestrian walkway so cyclists and pedestrians can co-exists here. Just watch out for traffic as there are many near-misses from bicycle speeding. This is a public playground and your children and pets can play together. It is just a simple playground with slides and it is open space. So rain or shine, the playground is always there. Have fun and always remember safety first.

Night Walk along the Singapore River 🇸🇬
#nightlife
One of the things I like about Singapore is that it has good public security. You don't have to worry about being alone outside in the middle of the night.
Tonight, walk along the river from Zion Road to North Boat Quay and then walk back.
It is about four kilometers back and forth, and a slow walk for an hour, which is very suitable for emptying your mind to wait for the start of tomorrow's week.
