I was brought by locals to this place since I wanted to try something local and indeed it was. There were dishes like fried worms, tarantula and many others on the menu. I was that adventurous so instead I tried the local bbq chicken(which was abit tough), the local caught fish with their home made chilli paste which was mixed with red ants and chilli giving you that crunchy feel. Also, had the chance to try the bee eggs which felt abit like a bubble tea pearl just that it's more of a salty sweet taste with abit of bee wax. Oh and lastly, we had a dessert that was shaved coconut shavings with brown sugar, that was amazing! The place here also is a very family oriented restaurant as you can see the tables here are spread out individually in a hut, ideal for big gatherings.

📍Siem Reap, Angkor Wat Temples Our first destination in Cambodia! Although Cambodia is only an hours flight from Thailand, there is no doubt that you are in a completely different country. Cambodia is smaller, less developed and more rural than Thailand. There seems to be fewer crowds and less tourists roaming the streets. The first thing that I noticed was how friendly Cambodian people are, they are so so welcoming and proud of their country. Siem Reap is home to the Angkor Wat Temples and we took a 9 hour tour, exploring the some of the main ones. As Angkor Wat is the largest religious monument on the planet, there was so much to see. We learned such interesting history of the temples and of Cambodia from our lovely tour guide. And we really felt like we were tomb raiders, exploring the ancient temples. Find yourself a nice spot and give the sunset a good 30-40 minutes to witness various hues paint the sky! From here, you can see many beautiful scenery. You are able to see the sights of Angkor Wat, Bak Sey Cham Krong Temple and some of temples near by. In addition, this is a great place to see sun rise and down. #sunset
