Although I only stayed for a short time, the feeling of returning to the basics is hard to experience after living in the city for a long time. 🌲Jilin Snow Town is a relatively quiet small village called Erhe Tun. It is close to Shulan City and Jiaohe City in Jilin Province, and close to the Yujing Line Provincial Highway, so it is convenient to get to. Erhe Tun is undoubtedly the most beautiful in winter. Snow is an indispensable element here. Due to its geographical location, it often snows heavily in winter, so it is especially suitable to visit in winter. 🌅The nights here are very quiet, and the sky is clear and transparent without wind. You can see the starry sky with the naked eye. What impressed me more was the sunrise in this small village. I ran to the small mountain next to the village before dawn to see the beautiful scenery given by nature. It was very rare. Whether it was the mountains in the distance or the forest farm nearby, the smoke rising from every household was like a colorful oil painting against the backdrop of the sunrise. This is a natural beauty that you will never see after living in the city for a long time. There are no tickets, no tourists, but there is the stunningly beautiful rime scenery of the mountains. This is the Maple Valley of Sifang Mountain in Baishan. Sifang Mountain Maple Valley is located to the north of Baishan city, at the border of Tonghua and Baishan. In autumn, it is a famous spot for viewing red leaves, and in winter, it is covered with pure white snow. You can drive up the mountain in Maple Valley, or you can park your car at the foot of the mountain and hike up. The road up the mountain has many bends and the snow is thick. If you drive up the mountain, you must have snow tires, preferably an SUV. Route: You can take the He-Da Expressway, exit at Xinglin Town, head towards Chaoyang Forest Farm, and reach it via County Road 078. Alternatively, you can first go to Baishan City, and then head from Baishan City. Navigation: Sifang Mountain Maple Valley. The viewing spot is located on the mountain. There is a mountain road leading up to it. There is a TV tower on the top of the mountain where vehicles often come and go, so there are tire tracks that you can follow up the mountain. The slope is not very steep, and you should be able to get up there with snow tires.

Jishu is now a street in Shulan City. It used to be a small town known for its coal mines, which has been home to several generations. Many families have lived here from their ancestors to their fathers to their children and grandchildren. They have experienced its desolation to prosperity to glory to decline and then to peace. The rows of bungalows have been replaced by high-rise buildings. This year, new elevator houses have been built. The houses that no one wanted to live in on the roadside have now been replaced by shops. The bumpy roads have become flat roads. The darkness at night has been illuminated by street lights. The stinky dry toilets have long disappeared and have been replaced by clean and bright public toilets... In recent years, a theme park has been built in Hexi Street, featuring underground miners, mine carts, coal transport tracks and the theme wall of 'roll up your sleeves and work hard'. This has greatly increased the sense of happiness of the elderly people living here, relieved the worries of the children who are starting businesses in other places about their parents' living environment, and made the children who are studying abroad still cherish this land as if they were counting their family treasures, and let the wellhead workers who sacrificed for the construction of the mine rest in peace here...
