Shala River It has a length of 37 km from the source at the top of Radohina to Dri, it springs at the source of Shtraza at the top of the village Theth, at the foot of the top of Radohina, from where it descends down through the valley of Shala, from Thethi, Ndërlysa and Musha , from Breg-Lumi to Porta e Shalës (Gorge of Rrshqëm), through Lotaj and in the valley of Shoshi, while its discharge goes to Lesniqe in Dri (today Lake Koman). It is a mountain river with an average drop of 22 meters in one kilometer. Shala River is distinguished by its crystalline water, with an average annual flow of about 34 m³ / sec. The maximum inflows reach in November with 52m3 / sec, while the minimum inflows in August in which it reaches 9m³ / sec. The Shala River is rich in a variety of fish, but the most widespread is trout, which grows only in freshwater. The cool blue color of the water is characteristic of this river, the steep cliffs that surround it, seem to touch the sky by hand. In the river Shala there is a rare beauty, where it is difficult to say only in words. The Shala River in the years of democracy has become a tourist destination for both foreigners and locals, from where many visitors describe it as the pearl of the beauties of Koman and Albania. Country Club ,Shkoder is a bar & grill restaurant located at pedestrian street Shkoder.The staffs are friendly and attentive,environment is good and comfort .Mussels risotto is delicious and quite a big portion.Price is a bit higher but is ok for good food

Building City Hall of Shkoder last time is a palace.The building is known for its magnificent appearance,but also unique,because it is the only palace built in this style in Albania.It’s big and location is great near the pedestrian street of Shkoder

Beck’s ,Shkoder is a fast foods restaurant.Location close to bus stop near Hotel Rozafa.The staffs are kind and attentive,food is delicious too.environment is peaceful,comfort and clean.Worth trying

Always go for local market when travelling to Europe.At Shkoder,pedestrian street there is a market where local peoples selling homemade honey,handcraft cloth and bag,poster,accessories and etc daily from morning till 4pm except Sunday.At Shkoder,Sunday all the market,supermarket ,shop are close except cafe,restaurant or bar

St.Stephen ‘s Cathedral,Shkoder,the Roman Catholic Cathedral is dedicated to St Stephen .New cathedral ,inside is simple but nice.so peaceful and lovely.Worth visit

Try for Albania pizza at Fontana pizzeria,Shkoder located at pedestrian street of Shkoder.Surprisingly very delicious,crispy texture and the portion is big enough for 4 persons with very reasonable price.Environment is nice and comfort.Will visit again

If you are in Shkoder,you must visit Kole Idromeno street,is about 1 km long,and it’s pedestrian street of Shkoder.Restaurants,bars,bank,shops and the very good museum of photography.One of the most beautiful place for Shkoder

Shkoder is the fourth largest city for Albania but in terms of population is number two.It’s very busy city especially in the morning and afternoon at old town,local peoples and tourists come to buy grocery,household and etc.Not much attraction for tourists but you may visit mosque ,church and parks
