[Shimane] Sightseeing around Shimane
I went sightseeing in Shimane for 1 night and 2 days.
| Izumo |
First, I rented a car and went to "Inasa Beach" and "Izumo Taisha Shrine".
📝 It's recommended to go in November, when the gods from all over the country gather, as it's very lively!
After the visit, I went on a food tour around Izumo Taisha Shrine 🍦
| Matsue |
I moved to Matsue and went to Tamatsukuri Onsen ♨️
🏨 Relax while eating and drinking at Tamai Annex.
On the second day, I moved to | Shima |.
I tried sand painting at the "Sand Museum" 🏛
They also have the largest hourglass in Japan that measures one year.
It's a bit far, but I recommend you go there at least once.
After that, I moved to Matsue again and went to "Yaegaki Shrine". Fortune telling is popular, where you float paper in Kagami-no-ike pond and see how far it takes for a coin to sink.
There are still many things to see, such as art museums and sunset spots, so 1 night and 2 days was not enough.
