On my way back to Japan from Phuket during the New Year holidays, I used the Plaza Premium Lounge in KLIA T1 for a layover! #magicalxmastrip I took a Malaysia Airlines flight to Singapore en-route Kuala Lumpur, and since I am a Gold Enrich member I am entitled to the Golden Lounge for some meals and rest. The buffet spread is really scumptious and there are lots of food choices available, that a meal can be settles there literally. The interior is also very nice and cozy, and we had lots of food before our departure to another city. There is also a shower facility and napping area, so you can really recharge yourself before headimg to your next or final destination.

We went around 10 AM, and the food turned out to be quite tasty, with generous portions. The pricing was reasonable, especially considering the quality and taste of the meals. The menu offers a wide variety of options, so there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re craving a hearty breakfast or a light snack, you’ll find plenty to choose from. I appreciated the fact that the food was not only delicious but also served quickly, which is perfect when you’re on a time crunch during a transit. I truly enjoyed the experience and hope that Tea Garden continues to expand with more outlets. It’s definitely a great spot to grab a meal at KLIA 2!

This is the Sri Banting Dredge, built in Malaysia in 1974 (much newer than the colonial-era Tanjung Tualang dredge) and weighs 4,800 tonnes. Several years ago there was talk in the press about converting this dredge into a museum To visit the area you would need to drive an hour from Kuala Lumpur and walk about 30 minutes on a flat earthy terrain. #localfood #100waysoftravel We were staying around Putrajaya area and we wanted to have a taste of local delicacies, so we headed to IOI City Mall nearby to have our dinner at Oriental Kopi, which is a newly established Coffee outlet chain store in Malaysia. We had the signature coffee, and yuan yang (mixed kooi and teh) and ordered some local dishes such as Mee Siam, Curry Laksa, Nasi Lemak etc. We then complete our mral with their signature egg tart, which gain thrm a title of Guiness World Record being the outlet selling the most egg tarts in Malaysia. The taste is awesome and every dishes is prepared carefully up to their standards. Do note that crowds are at their peak during breakfast and be prepared to wait half an hour, so its best to visit during lunch or dinner.

There are so many good food stores that actually available over here. From local brand drinks to international brand drinks, from Ipoh culinery to Thailand Cuisine, and from local Malaysian kuih muih to Turkish delights, all were amazing. Tons of option to choose from. We had this amazing Thai beef noodle last time with some pandan coconut juice and it was superb! I am actually thinking of just visiting the airport soon, just so I can have it again. But, if you are in T1, take a free shuttle from level 1 to T2 (this goes both ways). Enjoy your food hunting!

While it is a terminal for budget airlines, the facilities are still up to standard and there are a lot of shopping options. It is also convenient to go to Kuala Lumpur City centre and other tourist cities like Malacca via trains / coaches.

Chance upon this local food stall where I saw many sit down here either to drink coffee or for a meal. Turn out to be very affordable meal indeed. #hotelreview Very handy location, just a quick walk away from the KLIA 2 terminal. Recommend booking as it gets very busy. Usually a queue at reception, so allow a little extra time for check in/check out. Even though I check in at midnight, no queue is also taking extra time for checking in. The rooms were very clean. Breakfast was brilliant and I had many choices to dine for. There's a free shuttle to KLIA. Highly recommended.

#malaysia I ended up visiting this place due to a flight delay on my transit flight to Singapore . It's a convenient option for passing the time during flight delays. The airport offers a continuous, complimentary shuttle service to and from this location every 30-40 minutes. The journey to the airport takes just around 10 minutes. Alternatively, you can use Grab services, which also take a similar amount of time. The place provides a secure area for storing your luggage, allowing you to explore without worry. It's essentially a mall filled with various brands offering great discounts and many dining options. Will highly recommended a visit if you are like me getting stuck in the airport 😂

Many international flights fly in and out of KLIA Terminal 1, so it is good to know the various dining options available if you are travelling or transiting there! My favourite go-to comfort food whenever I’m overseas is McDonald’s because I know it will always be good. Another good option is Costa Coffee is you just need to grab a small bite, like a sandwich or croissant with some coffee or tea. Alternatively, if you’re looking for some sweet local treats, Zaitown is a standalone stall that can satisfy those cravings. The best part is that you can takeaway food from go your preferred stall and slowly enjoy it while waiting for your plane in the final waiting area!
