I highly recommend Merumatta Senggigi as the best place to spend your time in Lombok, Indonesia, especially with your spouse. Located in very good place, you can enjoy both sunrise and sunset without going outside the hotel area. The staffs are very friendly and helpful, you can just simply call them when you need something to fix. You can also prepare a surprise for your perfect honeymoon. The place is so peaceful and clean. If you want to go to Gili Trawangan, you can also rent the boat from the hotel. Kerandangan beach is a beautiful place, it's perfect for those who like to be alone for a while and just enjoy the view of the sea. On the beach kerandangan you can enjoy the sunset with an extraordinary natural panorama, if you are lucky the sunset you get will be side by side with the majestic mountain in Bali, if you are hungry on the kerandangan beach there are many sellers of satay bulayak and the taste is really great! After climbing Mount Bromo and flying from Surabaya to Lombok Island, it was five in the afternoon. (No time difference with Beijing time) It took more than an hour by taxi to get to the hotel in Senggigi. The hotel we booked in Senggigi is Qunci Villas, owned by a South African. Every detail of the hotel is meticulously designed, not only the architecture and furnishings but also the placement of various flowers and plants, all reflecting a sense of Zen. The materials for the buildings and designs come from local and Balinese stones and wood. The hotel has three restaurants, with breakfast being free to order, and for lunch and dinner, you can choose between Asian cuisine, seafood, or an Italian restaurant. Each guest room is either the ground floor or the upper floor of a standalone villa, divided into sea view and garden rooms. The hotel has three swimming pools, with the one near the Italian restaurant NOOQ being adults-only. Below the stone steps is the sea. The water of the Indian Ocean is very clear, and the waves in Senggigi are relatively gentle, suitable for beginner surfers. The hotel staff are very warm and polite. Generally, there are more tourists watching the sunset in the evening, so if you want to have dinner by the sea, you need to book a spot in advance. This is a great place for tourism and leisure, where you can quietly enjoy the blue sky, white clouds, and sea breeze.

We took a 4-day trip to Lombok, Indonesia, in late October, 2023. It was a really unforgettable experience, we stayed in a nice resort beside the beach. It was a villa room with a private swimming pool and a quite chill yard. The food was amazing, from breakfast to dinner, which also accompanied with very traditional dance and music beside the beach. The next day, we went to dive, the dive center is just beside the resort, and the dive center picked us up, we went to the Gili island area to dive, the visibility was great with turtles and a lot other sea creatures. You can not miss The sunset, it was so beautiful. Really worth the trip and will definitely go back.

Lombok Island is an island next to Bali, the island is more primitive, and there are fewer tourists than Bali. You can fly over from Bali, or you can take a boat. The fast boat takes about 2 hours and costs about 200 RMB, and the plane costs about 450-500 RMB, and it takes 40 minutes. I flew over from Jakarta, took Lion Air of Indonesia, and the flight time was two hours for a ticket price of over 300 RMB. In Lombok, tourists usually choose to stay at the better-conditioned Senggigi Beach. It takes about an hour and a half to get there by taxi from the airport, and the cost is about 250K-300K, which is about 130-140 RMB. Senggigi Beach is a bustling area of Lombok Island, with many hotels, restaurants, and SPA travel agencies. The hotel I booked was Sheraton Senggigi Beach Resort. The hotel is a bit old, but the service is very online, and the room has been upgraded to a top-floor suite. The two-night tax-inclusive package I booked was only 1,000 RMB, including airport pick-up. The main reason for booking this package was the airport pick-up, which cost 150 RMB. The hotel has its own private beach, the waves are very calm, and it is very safe to play in the water. The price of the hotel's SPA is very touching, a 90-minute SPA facing the sea, the marked price is only 300 RMB, but the hotel gave a 50% discount, which is 150 RMB for 90 minutes, it is hard to imagine this is the price of a five-star hotel SPA. The hotel's food and beverage prices are also very affordable, a main course is also around 50 RMB. Staying at the hotel on Senggigi Beach is good, but the seawater and beach are a bit inferior. To see better seas, you must go out to sea, to the Gili Islands in the northwest. The Gili Islands consist of three islands, A Island, T Island, and M Island, usually going to T Island, which is more mature and larger. From Lombok Island to T Island of the Gili Islands, the full name of T Island is Trawangan, the route is actually very short, but you have to take a taxi from Senggigi to Bangsal Pier, and then take a boat. There are many touts here, you don't need to pay attention to them at all, just buy the local slow boat, 25K Indonesian Rupiah, and you'll be there in about 20 minutes, remember to wear slippers because you will get your feet wet. T Island is very commercialized, there are many good accommodations, and they are cheap, you can find very good hotels for prices between 300-500. On T Island, I stayed at Scallywags Resort, which is right on the beach and sea, and has a great sea view breakfast, priced at just over 300 per night. In fact, T Island is really healing, although small, but the sea, beach, and sunset are very beautiful, if you have enough time, you can stay on the island for 3 nights, perfectly relieving all stress and worries. In fact, in addition to the perfect beach and sea, the main event on Lombok Island is the 4-day and 3-night Rinjani Volcano trekking tour. The volcano is stunning and magnificent, but it is closed before April due to the rainy season, so this trip did not happen, next time I will choose to go to Lombok Island again in the non-rainy season.

We went to The Sail. A restaurant at the katamaran hotel just next to the beach. It was very refreshing and breezy. The food great,staff were kind and the view was just amazing.
