Celebrated Ching Ming Festival/Tomb Sweeping Day at Nirvana Memorial Garden, Semenyih recently which together with Nirvana Memorial Park, is one of the largest private memorial parks in Asia. Its burial plots and columbariums cater for Buddhists/Taoists and Christians. We made new discovery going around the surrounding Oriental gardens which we normally just viewed from atop the Multi-purpose Hall which houses the Da Ba Gong Temple, cafetaria, office and a relaxing zone. The walkabout was refreshing with soothing sights under canopy of trees and cascading designed waterfalls. A plus place for photoshoots.

Bukit Broga or Broga Hill is located in Semenyih, about an hour or less from KL city centre. The hike itself is not so difficult but because of lack of trees, it can be very hot if you attempted it after 9.00am. So most people choose the sunrise hike which start as early as 6.00am. Due to its proximity to KL and relatively easy climb, it can be really crowded on weekends and public holidays. Better go on weekdays to enjoy the scenery at your own leisure pace. The view from the top is stunning due to the lack of trees. Almost similar to Cempohan Walk in Ubud Bali with its lalang covering the hill top. This place has a beautiful view and great for sunrise. It's an easy hike, around an hour hike. It's better to start your hike around 5am, so that you will be able to catch the sunrise and to avoid the swarm of people going up around 730am onward. 👀 There are 3 peaks, hike to peak 1 is long but once you reach peak 1, going to peak 2 is relatively easy. Peak 3 is not too far from peak 2 but the path is quite challenging. I would recommend bringing spare clothes because whatever you were will be dirty. 🍃 There are clear signs to take you to the top. The view is very beautiful during the hike. You can see the horizon with clouds in the morning. At the highest peak, you can either climb the rock or walk around it to the top. 👣 Hiking is all about enjoying nature. Getting There - Around 30mins drive from Kajang/Bangi and you’ll reach this place near to the Semenyih foothill. A great place with fresh air. Attractions - Lots of activities that you can do here. There are fish ponds that you can show your fishing skills, ATV ride with selections of tracks, petting zoo for your kids, horse riding and archery too! Food & Restaurants - There is a cafe there where you can order food. They also can cook the fish that you caught. Taste wise 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 We went there with a groups of friends and families. The word Broga is believed to originate from ‘Buragas’, an ancient mythical creature that once dwelt in the forest. Nowadays, Bukit Broga is a wonderful destination for people who enjoy outdoor activities. With an easy to moderate hiking trail, people of all ages often come in droves early in the morning to climb the scenic path to the top of Bukit Broga with an elevation of 400m above sea level, while some continue on to Gunung Tok Wan and Puncak 18. Although the hill is relatively low, the view from the top still offers one of the best sights around. There are three ‘peaks’ on Bukit Broga. Trails over here are clearly marked making it very easy to self-navigate to a magnificent view of the green valley below. It is important to plan your hike beforehand, as good weather helps avoid slippery climbs that could be extra challenging. Depending on fitness levels, it takes about 30 minutes to an hour to reach the top of Broga Hill. The relatively easy hike means that slippers may be worn but, shoes are encouraged as a precaution in case weather conditions turn awry.

It is located at Semenyih town, Selangor. This place give you a nice view at the top where you can see almost whole KL and a part of Negeri Sembilan. It's good hiking trail for beginners which is standing at 400meters high. The climb is quite easy and the path is also very safe. Unfortunately now they charge parking fee RM 5 and entrance fee RM5 per person to hike the hill. Used to be free of charge in the past. Come early in the morning if you want to see sunrise at about 7am and enjoy the cool fresh air. It takes roughly 1 hour to go up to the hill. When we mention hiking in Semenyih many people would think of Broga. This is another spot you could consider. This hike is to a waterfall called Lata Broga. It's an easy 15 minutes hike passing true plantations in villages before reaching to the stream. Once you're the stream you'll be greeted with pristine clearwater and you just have to follow the water pipes leading up to the waterfall. #myhiddengems It's a great park. Shame it closes at 7pm. Has a few facilities, but quite basis on the whole. Despite this, it's amazing how popular it is and there's a great view from the top; you can see all of Semenyih and all the development around. Semenyih is expanding and the area around Ecohill is the place to be. Nice place with nice landscapes. They occasionally have weekend activities here. Some private but mostly open to public.

The cafe is attached to a furniture shop next to it, it has a cute vibe and relaxing atmosphere to it. This is actually my second time to this cafe. My brother who is not a keen coffee drinker loves their coffee. This time, we had dalgona, dirty latte and iced chocolate.
