Petra Islands National Park 🐳⛰️🌊
🪨⛰️ It is a national park located in the Strait of Malacca, Andaman Sea, in the Indian Ocean on the west coast of Thailand. It covers the beach area along the coastline in La-ngu District, Thung Wa District, Satun Province and Palian District, Trang Province.
⛰️🌊🐳 The area in the park consists of seawater, islands, and mountains. The sea area consists of approximately 22 islands of different sizes, including Koh Phet, Koh Khao Yai, Koh Lalo Ban Tae, Koh Lidi, Koh Bulon, Koh Lao Liang, and Koh Perama, aligned in a north-south direction. Most of the islands have strange shapes, such as holes, caves, sinkholes, steep cliffs, and cliffs caused by erosion by waves, wind, and tides.
The main highlight of Mu Ko Phet is the "Khao To Ngai" area, a single mountain with a flat area to the north and a cape with steep cliffs extending into the sea to the south. To the northeast is a bay that is a sandy beach that curves into the land and is where the park office is located. It is called “Ao Po”.
