The Oasis in the City: Sakae Meitetsu Station
Nagoya Castle is a popular destination, and many visitors make their way to Sakae Meitetsu Station to explore the area. There are two major attractions here: the Nagoya TV Tower and Oasis 21, which are just a street apart.
Oasis 21 is located in the heart of Nagoya and serves as both a shopping mall and a transportation hub. It's also a stunning piece of architecture. The name 'Spaceship Aqua' comes from its grand design, which appears to float in mid-air, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind.
The Nagoya TV Tower is situated in Hisaya Odori Park and was completed on June 19, 1954. It is recognized as Japan's first steel-integrated radio tower. Tokyo Tower and Sapporo Tower were built in 1958 and 1957, respectively, highlighting the pioneering nature of the Nagoya TV Tower. As a tourist attraction, it has been in operation for over 50 years and is registered as a tangible cultural property.
Nagoya's Oden is delicious! Gomi Tori Sakae-cho Store.
Traveling to Nagoya!
I chose this restaurant because I wanted to eat miso oden!
Everything was delicious, including the chicken wings, miso oden, and miso ice cream.
Since it was a weekday, we could go without a reservation.
Drinks were also cheap until 7 PM.
Although it is an izakaya, it was a very clean place.
Because it is non-smoking, even those who dislike the smell of cigarettes can go!
It's also a child-friendly restaurant.
There are child seats available.

Nagoya Sakae night view, very beautiful
New and modern hotel
The hotel is new and clean. Room is quite spacious and price is reasonable. The location is ok. Didn't try the breakfast but the dining area looks very small. Though the hotel carpark was fully booked, there are many cheaper carparks nearby.
Hotel price is cheap, service and breakfast is good, there are free coffee and tea you could take it at lobby. This hotel is near Train station and easy to visit Nagoya city, although I didn't take much photos of this hotel.
However it's a long drive to Takayama and shirogawago.
