Kumagaya Sakura Tsutsumi: A Must-Visit Cherry Blossom Spot
Saitama Prefecture's Kumagaya Sakura Tsutsumi is a representative cherry blossom forest in Saitama Prefecture. During the blooming season, 500 Yoshino cherry trees blossom simultaneously, covering the 2-kilometer riverbank. When the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, the contrast of the canola flowers beneath the cherry trees, the pink cherry blossoms, and the azure sky in the background has been attracting locals to enjoy the view since the Edo period (200-400 years ago). It's a 5-minute walk from Kumagaya Station, making it easily accessible from the Kanto region. During the annual cherry blossom festival, there is also a magical illumination event from 18:00 to 21:00.

Chichibu Railway to Chichibu for Flower Viewing.
I took advantage of the holiday to ride the Chichibu Railway to Nagatoro for a river trip to see the rock formations in mid-April, then went to the Shibazakura Hill at Hitsujiyama Park in Chichibu's Makkaji area. Chichibu also has a whisky distillery, and the Chichibu Shrine features richly colored carvings. This trip was a very satisfying nature journey, during which I also enjoyed a variety of delicious foods. The hotels there are affordable, grateful!

Manga Hall in Saitama
#2024wish
It is located in a quiet residential area opposite Omiya Park.
It's a small building that used to be the residence of Kitazawa Rakuten, a cartoonist from the Meiji period. Admission is free. And there exhibits related to manga, obviously lol Although it was small in scale, there were many things to see. If you have time, you can stay for at least an hour. There were other artists' works on display, including a picture of a monster called Amabie.
I wish I could start reading manga.
Anything travels
The most famous of the daylight is the Toshogu Shrine. After six years of research, as of 1991, people have a general understanding of this temple. The temple is shared, and 29 of them are decorated with various styles of engraving patterns, which have a total of 5,147 styles. After understanding the results of the above research, many tourists realized that their browsing time in Toshogu was too short.
In the era of the shogunate's rule, it took a few days from the capital Edo (now Tokyo) to the daylight ox cart. How was this place selected as the tomb of Tokugawa Ieyasu, which is itself a story.
Indeed, daylight is like a crown embedded in the northern part of the Kanto Plain. Edo happens to be the center of the crown. However, Jiakang is a Kansai and not a Kanto. The reason why he was building a capital in Kanto was mainly to avoid the power of the Western Kyoto Emperor. This power was conquered by his original power. Jia Kang's grandson Jiaguang (1604~1651) After 20 years of death, Tokugawa Ieyasu decided to incorporate this remote area into the hereditary territory of Tokugawa. In fact, Tokugawa Ieyasu and his successor Tokugawa Ikebukuro and the 250-year-old Tokugawa shogunate and sons of the Tokugawa shogunate and at least three times a year to make three pilgrimages, worship the founding of a generation of dynasties and make the Japanese people General Tokugawa, who has been isolated from the outside world for more than two centuries.
