🌈South France is like a fairy tale. Before going there, I thought that medieval towns were mostly similar. After going there, I realized that each has its own beauty, and Saint Paul is the intersection of time and art. 🌟St-Paul de Vence, Saint Paul de Vence, is a "small" place. It is 20 kilometers away from the center of Nice, built on a hill, with buildings distributed along the slope, with a well-arranged layout, and small roads crisscrossing. We got lost in it several times. Thanks to that half-day aimless "detour", we were able to discover the hidden beauty of the town. Saint Paul was once a military stronghold in the Middle Ages. In the 19th century, it was favored by artists—Picasso frequented it, Matisse lived here for five years, Chagall lived here for more than 20 years and was buried here, and there were also writers and performing arts celebrities living here for creative inspiration.
