The water that flows vigorously from the waterfall, which is about 11 meters high and 15 meters wide, is part of the Taupo River and overwhelms visitors with its power and beauty. The water flow of the waterfall is very powerful, and it is said that about 220,000 liters of water flows down every second, as if you can feel the power of nature. The charm of Huka Falls is its vivid blue-green water. When the waterfall flows down, the water is milky and vivid in color, and the contrast with the surrounding nature creates a beautiful landscape. There is a promenade that allows you to walk close to the waterfall, and you can experience a breathtaking moment while feeling the grandeur of the waterfall up close. In addition, upstream of the waterfall, a tranquil lake-like landscape spreads out, and you can observe the water flow of the waterfall becoming more and more powerful. You can also take a boat tour downstream of the falls and enjoy the spectacular views while splashing around at the bottom. Indeed a thrilling experience at Hukafalls Jet, Taupo !!

Definitely a place to go if you’re in Taupo and love an adrenaline rush - Hukafalls Jet ! You can drop by Huka Falls first and watch from the top when the jet passes by. It is just 5 mins drive away from Huka Falls to Hukafalls Jet. Since we didn’t make any advance booking, we booked for two different slots (took turn to look after our toddler). While waiting for our turn, we had an amazing lunch at their cafe. #deliciousfood The weather was not in our favor, but we still went on since it wasn’t heavy rain. However, the speed of the jet made the rain feel like tiny needles poking my face. Also due to the rain, the railing was so cold & slippery at times, got to use my body to endure the spins 😆 I enjoyed it regardless !! Definitely a great experience. #newzealand #northisland
