It is a wonderful city and I am not saying that because it is my home town :-) Rome is an open-air museum, where everything around you is a monument, historical buildings, centuries-old churches and cultural testimonies. Walking around in the streets of city center will make your eyes and heart full. After a day walking around, don’t forget to try out some dishes of our special local cuisine. Here in the picture I have added my favorite pasta, typical from Rome: pasta cacio e pepe (home made pasta with melted cheese and black pepper). The restaurant in the picture is called ‘Osteria da Fortunata’ and it’s one of the oldest in Rome, you can see the chefs doing home made pasta from the windows . Here’s some of the free attrracrions in Rome for you to roam around while not emptying your wallet • Trevi Fountain ⛲️ (get there early and move to the front for a better pic as well as the side of the fountain) Beware of the photographer selling pic as well as pickpockets! It gets really crowded here •Piazza Navona shopping street that you can stroll along shopping and take some great photos •Spanish Steps a huge flight of stairs that is beautiful but not allowed to sit there. Gets crowded too at the bottom of the stairs . There are police and guards around keeping people off the stairs. You can walk along but not allowed to sit •Pantheon is a famous Ancient Roman ruin and landmark. Until 609, this ruin was used as a temple to the Roman gods. Since then, it has been used as a Catholic Church. Additionally, the Pantheon is the largest unsupported dome in the world! When visiting the Pantheon, just line up to walk inside.
