Mind blowing scenery of Joshua tree national Park

Joshua Tree is such a cool place. The landscape is stunning: the big rocks, the weird Joshua trees, and that wide-open desert. The hikes were awesome, especially with the sun setting behind the rocks. It felt like I was on another planet. On the day when I went there, there were very few people. Driving was a pleasure, most of the roads are dust roads, but they were well maintained. I had lots of water with me in the car and all the snacks I needed - there aren't many places to buy those. One thing: definitely bring plenty of water and wear sturdy shoes. She also focused on the fascinating geological formations around the park. This trip was truly an unforgettable experience, and I recommend visiting this unique natural site to anyone who has the chance.

Indian Canyons

#thingstodo The Indian Canyons are simply stunning to say the least- there are a wide array of trails, seasonal creeks and waterfalls and a cute gift shop with outdoor seating and nearby restrooms! It is one of our favorite places for a family hike. There is an entry fee alm Canyon is one of the areas of great beauty in Western North America. Its indigenous flora and fauna, which the Cahuilla people so expertly used, and its abundant Washingtonia filifera (California Fan Palm) are breathtaking contrasts to the stark rocky gorges and barren desert lands beyond. We did these trails, recommend it Palm Canyon Trail - 2.6 miles easy Andrea's Canyon - 1.5 miles easy West Fork Fall - 300 meters easy Murray Canyon to Wayward Mine Trail - 6 miles hard but worth it. Finished all trails in 6 hours with breaks . One of our favorite hiking locations and HIGHLY recommended..! Specifically the Palm Canyon, Andreas Canyon, and Murray Canyon / Seven Sisters hikes. Admission was $12 / adult but they did provide a nice first responder free admission, too..! Bathrooms with water stations were available and we had cell reception through most of the park. Make sure you bring water - but the Trading Post has Gatorade or water if needs be for very reasonable prices..! Recommended Electrolytes, water, hat, and good comfortable shoes with good grip, something saltine will help if you want to do all of them. They have bathrooms in every trail before start. Enjoy the trails and please leave no trace.

The fun of checking in this time is to see desert plants and various strange stones formed by granite By the way, I also distinguished Yucca, Joshua Tree and CollaColla are all thorns. They are super cute but useless Yucca is generally shorter, with thick gray hair on the leaves Joshua Tree is generally taller, with no hair on the leaves - 🗺️We prefer to drive in from the south gate and out from the north gate In the morning, you can check in at Cholla Cactus Garden (Figures 3 and 4). Each Cholla is like a glowing little hair ball. It's very cute The structure inside Cholla is also quite magical, it's all holes (Figure 9) Maybe because it's too dry, it needs to draw water Then follow the highway to check in: 📌Arch Rock 📌split Rock (right next to the parking lot) 📌Skull Rock (Figure 7) 📌Cap Rock (there is a small arch of Joshua Tree next to it in Figure 5) 📌Keys View (the wind is super strong, Figure 8, remember to bring thick clothes) 📌Broker Dam (reservoir) Climb a Hldden Valley Nature Trail an hour before sunset When I returned to the parking lot, I just saw the Joshua Tree and the pink sunset glow. (October 1st) After driving east from Los Angeles for three to four hours, you will arrive. The presence of this park has always been low. The films shot here not only lack fame, but also have ordinary scenes, unlike the other national parks nearby that can impress you at first sight. I made a strategy in advance and saw various travel bloggers complaining that the park's landscape is too monotonous, just the so-called "Joshua Tree" between trees and cacti. Missionaries named it because the trunk looks like a person praying with open arms to the sky. I set off early from Arizona and entered the park through the south gate (California tourists usually enter through the northwest gate). According to the weather forecast, it might snow, so I consulted the staff at the visitor center. Snow on the mountain is no joke, and tragedies of being trapped in the mountains and freezing or starving to death are not uncommon. The staff said that as long as I don't deviate from the main road, there is no danger, and snowplows pass by every hour. Park roads that cannot guarantee safety may be closed at any time. (Winter visitors must be sure to read the signs at every fork in the road. If the park doesn't allow you to enter, they usually can't save you either.) After entering the mountain, I saw perhaps the most beautiful snow scene of my life. I feel that this park has inverted its priorities from naming to positioning. The most spectacular scenery on the mountain is not the trees, but the various strange rocks, as if they were enlarged bonsai. The trees only serve as decoration. Joshua Tree National Park is especially suitable for camping and stargazing in the summer. However, the strange rocks and trees in the snow resemble the artistic conception in ancient Chinese paintings, fully displaying the art of blank space.
