If you are traveling from the Chaoshan area, self-driving is the most convenient choice! 🚗 (To be honest, buses, Didi, and carpooling are not very convenient here)
It takes just over an hour to drive from Chaozhou or Shantou downtown to Raoping via the Chaoshan Expressway! 🛣️
First stop: Fushan Town, Raoping County, Chaozhou City 📸
• Persimmon Street: The Chaoshan version of "Autumn Harvest", so beautiful! 🔥
• Address: Pingyang Village, Fushan Town, right by the road, easy parking.
• Great for photos, free to visit, locals are friendly, no need to buy anything!
• Wulian Village, Fushan Town: A niche destination, the "Little Guilin" of Raoping! 🏞️
• Jincuowei Camping Base, Fishing Base, Fun Rice Field Base, no tickets required, a great place for picnics, camping, fishing, and tea!
• Food recommendations: Dongguan Village Handmade Noodles, Jiatian Chinese Restaurant, Lianghui Beef Restaurant.
Second stop: Fubin Town, Raoping County, Chaozhou City 🏘️
• Zhang Jingsheng Former Residence Park, Qiaotou Park, Greenway: Just go straight from the Fubin Expressway exit, not a large area, but Dr. Zhang's former residence is worth a visit!
• Food recommendations: Fubin Simple Meals.
Third stop: Tangxi Town, Raoping County, Chaozhou City 🏞️
• Tangxi Reservoir Management Office, Celebrity Island (Dongkeng Village): Blue sky and water, green grass and leaves, a great place to relax on weekends!
• Perfect for family hiking and gatherings, enjoy the beauty of nature together!
Fourth stop: Sanrao Town, Raoping County, Chaozhou City 🏰
• Daoyun Building: The most distinctive historical building in Chaoshan, with an ancient charm, like a scene from the Big Fish & Begonia comic!
• Tickets and parking fees (a bit outrageous, but still worth a visit)!
• Food recommendations: Old Sanrao Dumplings, Qingbuliang, Tofu Balls.
