When visiting Zinan Village, be sure to visit the Wu Xinkun Art Museum.
The Wu Xinkun Art Museum is located in Zinan Village, Foshan, a nationally recognized civilized village.
Wu Xinkun was born in Foshan, Guangdong, and studied under the famous sculptor Pan He. After graduating, he taught in the Sculpture Department of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. During this period, he served as the president of the Guangdong Young Sculptors Association. His sculptures have been selected for provincial and national exhibitions, won awards, and been published many times.
At the end of 1988, he was invited by the International Sculpture Center to visit the United States and served as a visiting professor at the University of Kansas. He later founded the Wu Xinkun Sculpture School. With his solid basic skills, diligence, and unique creativity, many of his works have been selected for display in the White House, as well as many large-scale national museums, stadiums, celebrity halls, and galleries across the United States.
Since 1997, he has held solo exhibitions in Beijing, Guangzhou, Foshan, Shunde, Jiangmen, and other places. His "Bronze Surface Hot Coloring Method" has been awarded an invention patent certificate by the China National Intellectual Property Administration. This advanced technology has filled a gap in China's bronze casting industry, transforming the monotonous dark brown color of ancient Chinese bronzes into a dazzling array of colors, giving the audience a refreshing experience.
The Wu Xinkun Art Museum is divided into two parts, outdoor and indoor, with hundreds of works in total. Outdoors, the sculptures are scattered among the flowers, plants, and gardens around the lake, blending in with the environment in a unique way. Indoors, all the works are carefully selected.
The fact that Zinan Village has been able to introduce an art museum of an international master demonstrates the leadership's vision. The establishment of the art museum has added a lot to this nationally recognized civilized village.
