If you're fond of drinking and eating then this would be an enjoyable place to spend time with other people who enjoy eating and drinking. I recommend going to the 2nd floor to dine alfresco. Its not quite what it used to be from how my friend described it though. However, few things are. I would certainly go back to try another restaurant. If you live in Guangzhou it makes total sense to go there, however if you're visiting Guangzhou it's nothing special. Restaurants, river, people taking photos of the tower and the river. Traveling to Guangzhou, I wanted to visit one of the bars that move from Shanghai to Guangzhou called Zapatas, and the location was at the party pier, good place to visit the area was an old beer factory renovated to be a Art and nightlife entertainment area. Party Pier is a young and hip nightlife scene situated next to the Pearl River. The location offers a wide variety of bars and clubs, many of which have rooftop seating available as well. There are a nice selection of styles in the places on offer, from Mexican themed restaurant bars, to underground rave clubs, to fancy rooftop cocktail places. Whether you are up for a full blown bar crawl, some good western food, or just a nice relaxing drink with a river view and a breeze, Party Pier has it all.
