As the tour route goes deeper, the features of Zhuji in each historical stage are revealed one by one. Walking in Zhuji Museum, you can see that the basic historical and cultural exhibits are still arranged in chronological order. The theme is "Zhu Mountain is fertile and beautiful, and Huan River is fragrant". It is divided into four units: "Puyang River, the light of civilization", "Ancient capital of Yue, hometown of Xishi", "County in Qin, giant city in Zhejiang", and "Huan River is long, hometown of famous people". Among them, the "Puyang River, the light of civilization" unit shows Zhuji in the period of the origin of civilization; the "Ancient capital of Yue, hometown of Xishi" unit shows Zhuji as one of the birthplaces of Yue civilization and the historical facts of the ancient capital of Yue and the hometown of Xishi, as well as the history of Wu and Yue in the Spring and Autumn Period; "County in Qin, giant city in Zhejiang" reflects the history of Zhuji from Qin to Song; the last unit mainly displays the famous people and benevolent people who emerged in Zhuji from Yuan, Ming, Qing to modern times, as a witness to the inheritance of Zhuji's culture. Shanghai has too many back gardens, and Zhuji is one of them.||🚗Transportation: It takes a little over an hour by high-speed train from Shanghai to Zhuji, but you need to grab tickets in advance on weekends, otherwise, you'll only be able to get train tickets, which take over four hours one way. If you have your own car or rent one, it's also very convenient to get there. Day1️⃣ Head straight to the Shanxiahu Pearl Market There are a huge number of stalls, worthy of being the largest pearl market in the world. 🚖 It takes about 40 minutes by taxi from Zhuji high-speed train station, so the first day is basically only enough to arrange this one itinerary. It's best to do some research on pearl selection in advance, plan what diameter and quality you want to buy, and determine your budget. Go straight for your target, otherwise, it's easy to be spotted by the shop owners as a pearl novice or a casual shopper, and you might get ripped off or ignored. Day2️⃣ Xishi's Hometown—Zhuji Museum ⛲️ Xishi's Hometown is a large park where many locals also come to play on weekends, and it's very comfortable to stroll around and feel the slow pace of local life. 🗿 The Zhuji Museum is definitely worth a visit, tracing the history of Homo sapiens, recalling the struggle for dominance between Wu and Yue, and telling the story of Xishi in detail. 🍲 Food: The food in Zhuji is generally light. |Zhuji one-day tour guide. Zhuji, Zhejiang 1 Zhuji is very good, but there are not many attractions I went to Zhuji for the noodles in Ciwu, but I can only say that it did not meet my expectations. Attractions Xishi's hometown The whole Zhuji is focusing on Xi Shi, just like Shangyu is focusing on Cao E. We went to Xishi's hometown at night, and even during the May Day holiday, there wasn't a lot of people there. It's a bit like a park, with good overall greenery, and should be suitable for local people to take a walk. Zhuji Museum The museum should have been built quite early, in the 1990s. The overall architecture is actually very 90s-style, with a garden design. But relatively speaking, there is not much to explore inside, which may be due to the nature of Zhuji. Huaxia Epigraphy Institute Don't go, you can pull weeds Caota Old Street: I went straight to Caota Old Street Station in the morning, but arrived around 9 o'clock and missed breakfast. Just go to the century-old wonton shop next door to have a bowl of small wontons and some sweet and sour grilled dumplings. The meat filling of the baked dumplings is actually quite good, but the sauce outside is a bit too sweet, which is not quite acceptable. The old street is small and commercial, and you can basically walk around it in 10 minutes. I saw many Chinese medicine clinics (specialties?) Zhuji Museum: At the bus station in Caota, you can take a bus directly to Zhuji Museum. The venue is not big, but it is worth a visit. You can quickly learn about Zhuji's Torreya grandis/pearl/Yue Kiln culture, and there are also many introductions to ancient building complexes. Thousand Pillar House & Si House: It’s quite far, I also took the bus, which took about an hour. You have to calculate the time well, otherwise you will have to wait a long time to get back. The two attractions are on the way and very close. I personally don't recommend the Thousand Pillar House, the ticket is 35, (and I spent 30 for the explanation), it is similar to the ancient buildings in Sizhai Village, you don't need to spend 35, just visit Sizhai Village About eating 1. Lizhaociwu noodles One of the top ten noodle restaurants in Zhuji, a restaurant that Wulala has also been to. Ordered a bowl of signature tomato noodles and a bowl of big scene. The tomatoes tasted okay, but the large intestines were just average. And I don’t know why, but I feel that the prices in Zhuji are not cheap overall. Two bowls of noodles seem to cost more than 70 yuan. The quantity is average. 2. Brother Di’s Handmade Rattan Soup Candy I tried the local specialty rattan soup, which is made of pickled mustard greens, tofu cubes, tea tree mushrooms and pork. It costs 25 yuan each. I think it is really less in quantity and more expensive than Taizhou embedded cakes. Tangyang is delicious, not too sweet, pretty good. 3. Du Fu Scone This is good. I tried the one with fresh meat, the one with preserved vegetables, the one with shredded radish, and the one with pickled mustard tuber. They are all okay. I recommend the one with fresh meat. And it’s quite cheap, only 2 or 3 yuan each.
