Spring Check-in | Zhoupu Garden: Worth Braving the Wind
Would you drive two hours to a certain place, even if it's windy? That's exactly what I did this weekend. I braved the wind and came to Zhoupu Flower Sea, a place with thousands of acres of flower fields and colorful flowers.
🚉Transportation Guide:
👉From downtown Shanghai, if you choose public transportation, you can take Subway Line 16 to Zhoupu East Station. After exiting the station, transfer to Pudong Bus No. 51, Pudong Bus No. 75, etc., and get off at the Zhou Deng Highway and Shenjiang Road stop (you can almost see the words "Zhoupu Flower Sea" upon getting off). 🚶Walk for a few minutes to reach Zhoupu Flower Sea.
👉If you choose to drive, 🚘directly navigate to "Zhoupu Flower Sea," take the Outer Ring Expressway and transfer to the Shenjiahu Expressway. Exit from Zhou Deng Highway, and follow the signs to easily arrive, avoiding traffic jams (there is a parking lot 🅿️ at the entrance of the flower sea).
【I chose a combination of the two. I took the subway to Zhoupu East and then a taxi to the entrance of the flower sea, which only cost a little over ten yuan.】
🌟Highlights:
The main attraction of a flower sea is, of course, the flowers. I heard that there are a lot of people here on weekends, but it wasn't too bad when I came (of course not, it was so windy that day❗️). That's why I was able to have so much fun.
🌼We strolled along the main road, with a large field of rapeseed flowers taller than people on the right-hand side. Although it was still yellow and green when I arrived, it would definitely be more photogenic on a sunny day.📷
🌺After taking photos (and admiring myself), we continued forward, and "Jade Belt Flowing Clouds" came into view. The name is quite nice, but it's actually "Ranunculus," a flower that looks like a peony, with bright colors of red, yellow, blue, green, orange, purple (not that many). 📷I took some more photos here. Zhoupu Flower Sea, you really know me, there are photo spots everywhere.
🌸Continuing forward, we saw the Rainbow Bridge, the Big Mushroom, and a large area of seven-colored flowers. There's an interesting flower here called "Snapdragon," but I don't think it looks like a goldfish at all. It looks more like a bluebell, very interesting, and comes in many colors.
In Zhoupu Garden, I saw many familiar and unfamiliar flowers, such as tulips, cherry blossoms, hydrangeas, etc., all blooming in spring.
If the weather is nice☀️, it would be so relaxing to spread a picnic blanket on the lawn, bask in the sun, and enjoy the breeze. There is also a family play area in the garden with slides, swings, and other amusement facilities for families with children.
🍽Dining Recommendations:
Oh, right, how can a trip be complete without delicious food❓I found that Zhoupu Flower Sea actually has a super cool "barbecue area," which is self-service. Not only that, but you can also sit on a bumper boat, eat barbecue, and row a boat.🚣♀️
After a day of fun, I can only say, "Zhoupu Flower Sea, you're amazing." I enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the flower sea, ate delicious barbecue🍖, and even took home a few of my favorite plants before leaving. This... eating, drinking, playing, and taking home souvenirs, it's too good to be true❗️❗️
