Later I learned that this place was originally converted from an old shipyard and the Zhongshan Art Museum is also located here. The blend of retro and artistic atmosphere adds a unique charm to parent-child play. The elements in the park are rich and diverse, and full of surprises: under the shady trees, children run after the light; the wide lawn is like a natural carpet, suitable for laying out a picnic mat and enjoying outdoor time; the abandoned old shipyard buildings retain traces of the industrial age, and the mottled iron frames and red brick walls become a unique check-in background; the former railway tracks lie quietly in the grass, as if telling a story of the years. The best part is the trail built along the river. It is very pleasant to stroll along it, feeling the river breeze and listening to boats slowly passing by in the distance. Walking into the Zhongshan Art Museum, the art exhibitions held regularly in the museum allow children and adults to immerse themselves in the artistic atmosphere while having fun. If you are tired, you can sit quietly in the rest area of ​​the museum and look at the interweaving river and garden views through the floor-to-ceiling windows, which is a unique kind of tranquility. Day 1: A Journey Through Time in Paintings The first stop in Zhongshan was the Zhongshan Art Museum. This hidden gem in the corner of the city seems to maintain a distance from the bustling world. Upon entering the museum, the first thing that caught my eye were the powerful and emotional oil paintings, each brushstroke on the canvas telling a different story. Day 2: Finding Inspiration in Sculptures and Installations On the second day, I visited another section of the museum, where the sculptures and installation art were equally astonishing. From your room, you can enjoy views of the Ferris wheel, and the pedestrian street is just across the river.) 📍 Citywalk Route: After breakfast → Take a leisurely stroll through Qijiang Park, where you can also visit the Zhongshan Art Museum → Take a taxi to Holiday Plaza for lunch and shopping → Start your Zhongshan citywalk! → Catholic Church → Jinbang Dessert Shop → Zhongshan Memorial Hall → Zhongshan Museum → Xishan Temple → Sunwen West Road Pedestrian Street → Four Happiness Cafe ❤️❤️❤️ My favorite spot in Zhongshan this time was Holiday Plaza❗The fusion of Chinese and Western art styles creates a fantastic atmosphere. Here, you'll find trendy shops, unique cuisine, antique exhibitions, and various cultural activities. It's a one-stop shop for shopping, art appreciation, and delicious food! ❤️ There's a newly opened dessert shop on Sunwen West Road called Jinbang Dessert Shop. They offer handmade desserts, with each bowl costing just a few yuan. Delicious and affordable! It's a great place to take a break and enjoy some sweets. ❌ Zhongshan Memorial Hall is currently under renovation, so you might want to skip it for now. 🏛️ Zhongshan Museum houses the "past and present" of Zhongshan, showcasing various cultural relics and historical materials that will open your eyes. The museum also offers many interactive experiences, making it perfect for families with children. ☕ Across the street, you'll find two Four Happiness Cafes. They offer cultural and creative products alongside coffee. The coffee is decent, but the place is often crowded and not very comfortable. However, they have many beautiful stamps you can use for free. 👉🏻 A short walk further will take you to Xishan Temple, one of the oldest temples in Zhongshan. 👉🏻 Sunwen West Road is definitely worth exploring and taking photos. Along the way, you'll find cafes like Xiangshan Coffee, Cha Yi Xian, and Four Happiness Cafe, offering various drinks and snacks. It's a great place to enjoy refreshments while taking in the sights. 🛍️ There's a Ju Xiang Yuan stall inside the Sheraton! It's super convenient for buying souvenirs, and the prices are reasonable. I bought a special edition of almond cookies featuring the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge for 58 yuan for 3 boxes!

When in Zhongshan, you must come to V+ Art Museum to see this exhibition! "Art Description, New Painting" is a real feast for my eyes. This exhibition brings together works by 14 artists from the Greater Bay Area. Stepping into the exhibition area is like entering a fantasy world of art. You have the opportunity to "pass by the earth" 🌏, and you can also be in the tropical rainforest for a second 🌴. Every exhibit is full of artistic sense and is really worth seeing 👍🏻. Moreover, the photos taken here are super good, and every corner is a large background board✨.
