Go to the Foreign Story Museum and listen to the history of a lone soldier fighting
The Exotic Story House is located in Zhongzheng New Village. The founder, Chairman Wang, was a 17-year-old intelligence soldier in northern Myanmar. He followed the lone soldier and fought for his country through life and death. In order to "not forget history and remember the heroes", he went through difficulties and established the story house at his own expense, hoping that the tragic stories of the lone soldier could be passed down forever.
The story museum has five major exhibition areas: "Chaos", "Quietness", "Mystery", "Return" and "Tolerance". It combines rich exhibition content such as photos, historical materials, physical models, and multimedia interactive facilities to show the tragic history of the "lone army in a foreign land" who fought for more than 30 years in the remote northern Myanmar to fight against the Communist Party and restore the country and safeguard the security of the Taiwan Strait after the Kuomintang-Communist War in 1949, but was forgotten by the government and the public. We hope to enable different ethnic groups to understand this history and the cultural background of Zhongzheng New Village.
Among them, the static exhibition area is the smallest and simplest. The long-term impact and harm of the separation of life and death in war on life, family and psychology caused by the soldiers alone make people feel extremely reluctant. Experiencing the suffering of war makes us more aware of the importance of peace. Doesn’t that period of history also warn us that “no war is worth singing about”!
